Project Update: The final piece is ready! We have ART PRINTS! Softcover at-cost discounts sent!
If anyone is still in need of help getting their books please do email me directly at [email protected] and I will personally see to it that you receive your discounts to get your books printed. I have answered a ton of emails and helped a lot of people. But just in case there are a few stragglers please do contact me. I'll make things right. It has been a learning experience for sure! I sent out another set of discount emails to those of you who ordered Vol. 2 softcovers. So please check your emails and if something isn't there. Please let me know. (It should be!)
Thank you again for all of your positive words of kindness, encouragement, and appreciation for the work that has gone into creating these zines. We are absolutely thrilled to have successfully funded and delivered our first Backerkit. We will be back at it later this year with Righteous Vow: Volume 3 (which is already in writing and illustration.) We are also working on new projects that will be playable in the Pirate Borg, Darkspace, and Dungeon Crawl Classics universes. But more on that soon!
Thank you again Crawl Club for an amazing Backerkit! We hope you are all enjoying Volume 2! Can't wait to bring you Volume 3!

Project Update: Your art prints are nearly ready!
Still waiting to get the proofs for the new softcovers in the mail. It's likely going to be another 10 or so days before I do. So we're waiting. But once again. As soon as the proof arrives I'll be smashing the "LIVE" button so everyone can print those.
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who contacted me via email during this process. For our first Backerkit ever I have learned a whole heck of a lot. The next go around I'll be doing things a lot differently, but I do appreciate the patience, understanding, and willingness to work with me as I power through these learning experiences. I do believe I have gotten back to everyone who has emailed me about any difficulties they may have had with the printing/email discounts process. Some of the emails just never hit your inboxes, some of them got caught in spam filters, others had no problems at all. But fortunately I was able to send out emails and codes to get most if not all of you taken care of. Whew! It was a process. But I think we're just about there. Thankful that the majority of backers didn't have problems. But for the ones who did. You all showed how top notch this community is. With excellent responses and more patience than I deserved. Anyway. Huge thank you to all of you!
And if any of you have any problems with anything, or questions about anything. Do not hesitate to email me at [email protected] and I will certainly get back to you within 24 hours to help. I want to give the best possible service I can for the best possible product I can. Always. You matter. And you always will to me!
OK. One last pretty great thing.
Here's the cover for Volume 3. We're hard at work on it. And, well...it's going to be all about Dwarves, Paladins, and Dragons! Here's to the next adventure!

Project Update: New Softcovers/ The Plan.
Most of you said "Hey Bill, you're making way too big of a deal about this, the softcover looks great and that black box behind the Shadowdark RPG 3rd Party License logo is not a problem for me." I super appreciate this take. As a designer who wants every detail to be near perfect, or as perfect as it can be, I nitpick my own work and strive to make sure everything is excellent for all of you. The contents of Righteous Vow: Volume 2 are exactly as I had hoped. And everything inside the cover gets me very excited. Because an entire campaigns worth of adventuring is ready for everyone inside of this zine. I'm over the moon with the artwork that Andrew, Uriah, and DeWayne put together, the writing (hey go me!), the editing that Wayne and Laurie worked hard on, all of it shines. It's just a little silly black box that is getting me down.
But! let's cut to the chase here: We have a plan.
Everyone who backed has three options before them. Each one is great, and no questions will be asked on any one you choose to select. I appreciate everyone who backed. And I want to be sure to deliver exactly what everyone paid for. So. Let me know what you'd like to do. Here they are...
1) The cover doesn't bother me. I'm good. In this case you will keep the "special edition variant" softcover version and enjoy the awesome zine within. Nothing needs to be done.
2) The cover isn't a big deal, but I'd like a new one without the error. I can add it to a new order later when I'm getting other books on DriveThruRPG. This one is my favorite option. Because it helps get you a second book that has an "error free"cover. And lets you print the new version at-cost to add to an order down the road. The second copy you receive can be given to a friend or kept as a collectible.
3) I paid for shipping already, and I'd like a new version sent to me without the error please. It is absolutely within your right, and everyone's right to receive the book they paid to have printed without the error. This option is perfectly fine too, and I will send you a new, completely immaculate copy of the softcover, free of any charges.
For options 2 or 3, please just email me at [email protected] and I will make sure to get you the discount for your at-cost print, OR include your address with your email for Option 3 and I will send you a new copy once they are printed and in my hands.
Thank you everyone for the opportunity to fix this minor error. I want to give the best possible service to anyone who purchases content from Crawl Club Publishing LLC. Many of you have asked "why did you even bring this up, we wouldn't have probably noticed!" And for many of you that might be true. But I also want you to all get the best version of the book you can. The time is always right to do what is right. So please do reach out if you would like a new one. I'll make it so! Have an excellent week. Talk to you all soon!
