February has been a quieter month for Ashes production, but we wanted to keep you in the loop on where things stand and what's coming next.

As many of you know, our manufacturing partners in China observe Chinese New Year, which ran from February 10th - March 4th this year.
 
During this period, factories across the region shut down completely for the holiday celebrations, meaning all production work on Ashes came to a pause.

The good news? Factories reopen this week (March 5th), and we'll be jumping right back into production mode!

Now that production is resuming, we'll be working closely with the factories to organise timelines and work towards getting concrete dates for each stage of manufacturing.
 
We know waiting can be tough, especially during these pauses, but the holiday period is a necessary part of working with international manufacturers, and it ensures our partners are rested and ready to deliver the quality we want for you all.

We know you're eager to get Ashes in your hands, and so are we. Thank you for sticking with us.

We're revealing exclusive spreads from the journal of Norag, legendary warrior of Akeroth, a figure whose name echoes through the ruins and whose deeds shaped the world before its fall.

These weathered pages contain more than one warrior's chronicle. Within Norag's entries lie fragments of lost lore, glimpses of Akeroth's glory days, and hints about the cataclysmic events that led to its downfall. Each spread reveals pieces of a larger puzzle; the story of how a world fell to darkness.

For those who walk the ashes seeking truth, Norag's words offer guidance... and warnings.

The fire still burns. Let's talk about where Ashes stands and where it's going.

 

Right now, somewhere in a production facility, the first physical copies of Ashes are being prepared. We're waiting on samples of both the Core Rulebook and the Limited Edition Book, the first tangible proof that this world of darkness and perseverance exists beyond digital files.

When these samples arrive, we'll examine every detail: the weight of the pages, the depth of the ink, the way the cover feels in hand and more. We'll make sure it captures the brutal beauty of the game itself. Only then will we approve the full production run.

The holiday season (Christmas and Lunar New Year) means this process may take a few weeks longer, but we're okay with that. Ashes has always been about patience, persistence, and refusing to compromise when it matters. The same applies to bringing it into the physical world.

Once we approve the samples, you'll get a complete fulfillment timeline. We're close now… closer than we've ever been.

 

While the physical books make their way toward existence, the Ashes community has been busy creating something remarkable.

Mike G and Dani, two players who've been exploring the depths of Ashes for months, have helped in creating a free multiplayer supplement, and it's exceptional. These aren't just rules for adding more players. They're a refinement of Ashes itself, making the core systems clearer, simpler, and more intuitive whether you're playing solo or with a group.

The supplement lets you experience Ashes as a shared journey: coordinating strategies, covering each other during desperate moments, and finding strength in companionship even as the darkness presses in. But even if multiplayer isn't your focus, the clarity and streamlining these rules bring to the core game make them valuable for everyone.

Mike and Dani's extensive playtesting shows. This is polished, thoughtful work that genuinely improves Ashes, and we're honored to share it with the wider community.

Over recent months, long-term plans have been forming: ideas about where this world can go, how it can expand, what stories still need to be told and more. We're not ready to reveal everything just yet. Some announcements deserve their own moment! But we want you to know that Ashes isn't a finished chapter for us.
