Project Update: 📆 What’s Next For The Hundred Acre Woods?

What a journey. First of all, thank you. 💜 This campaign has been nothing short of magical. Your support, excitement, and trust have meant the world to us, and we can’t wait to build the next chapter with you by our side.

So, what happens now?


✨ How Crowdfunding Works

If you’re new to indie game crowdfunding - or just curious where we’re at - here’s the short version:

This project is still in active development, and you’re a member of the party shaping this world from the ground up. Together, we’re stepping into the next phase of the quest: writing, designing, playtesting, illustrating, producing, and delivering every part of Brambletrek: Tales in the Hundred Acre Woods, along with all the shiny add-ons you picked for your hoard.

At Crossed Paths, every game we create is carefully forged: from polished mechanics and immersive writing to stunning visuals and thoughtful design. We don’t cut corners. We don’t rush to release. We care deeply about how our games feel, function, and inspire. Our games are slow-cooked, playtested, community-shaped, and built with care. We take the time to make something special - and we’re so glad you’re on this journey with us.

We’ll be updating you on our progress every month (more on that below), so you’re never left wandering in the fog.


✨ Early Digital Rewards

Now that everything’s settled and pledges are locked, it’s time to share some of your first rewards while we continue deeper into the development of Tales in the Hundred Acre Woods.

On 6th May, you’ll receive a selection of digital rewards included in your pledge, sent directly to your inbox. Including things like the original Brambletrek game, animated wallpapers, and early playtest copies of other titles. (This will depend on your pledge level and add-on choices)



✨ The Hundred Acre Wood Timeline

Here’s how the next stages of the journey will unfold: from development to delivery, we’ll cover what we’re working on, when it’s happening, and how your rewards will be delivered.

Each stage of the journey plays a key role, from early development to final delivery - but they won’t always happen in a strict one-after-the-other order. Many stages will overlap to keep everything moving smoothly behind the scenes. While we’re playtesting one part, we might already be prepping another for print.

We’ll always let you know where we’re at in each stage through our monthly updates, so you’ll have a clear picture of what’s happening, what’s next, and how things are progressing.


This is where we set out into the Hundred Acre Woods. Writing and design are in full swing as we develop the world, characters, mechanics, and structure of Tales in the Hundred Acre Woods. We’ll open early playtesting when it’s ready, and invite you to explore and share your thoughts. Your feedback at this stage will help shape the very core of the game.




Development continues in full swing as we build on your feedback. We’ll share new playtest versions and run multiple rounds of testing to refine how the game plays, feels, and flows. Mechanics are balanced, narrative details are sharpened, and together, we shape a final version we can all be proud of.




With playtesting complete and your feedback woven in, we finalise and deliver the finished digital game. Then we turn our attention to physical production - preparing layouts, testing samples, and ensuring every single component meets our high standards. It’s all about getting things just right before the presses roll.




With final files locked, we begin the production process. Pre-production samples are tested to make sure everything looks, feels, and functions exactly as it should. Once approved, full-scale manufacturing begins. This includes every component - books, cards, plushies, pins, boxes, maps, and more. Quality control checks happen throughout to ensure a consistent, high-standard final product.




With production complete, everything is shipped to our fulfillment partners. This involves transporting goods across borders, clearing customs, and ensuring everything arrives safely at regional warehouses. From there, products are checked, sorted, and logged into the system, ready to be packed into individual backer orders.




After passing through mandatory safety checks and customs, fulfillment begins. Orders are carefully packed - from books and boxed sets to card decks and plushies - and sent on their way to you, ready to be played, read, and enjoyed. (You’ll receive a tracking link via email once your rewards are on the move, so you can keep an eye on their journey.)


✨ What About Add-Ons & Bonus Items?

All add-ons and extras - from pins and plushies to card decks and sticker sheets - are being developed alongside the core game. Here's how delivery will work:

  • Digital rewards will be delivered as they’re completed. We’ll keep you updated on what’s coming next in our monthly updates!

  • Physical rewards (like plushies, card decks, etc.) will ship together with your printed game in Q1 2026. This helps keep shipping costs low and fulfilment simple and smooth.


If you added other Crossed Paths titles during this campaign, like Ashes or Covens of Midnight, those rewards will also be included in the same shipment. Everything will arrive together in one bundle, so you won’t be charged shipping twice.

We share updates like this one on the first Tuesday of every month. That means regular production updates, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, playtest insights, polls, and the occasional lore drop!
