📘 Moving to Beta - Off to the Editor
Legends of Akeroth is officially moving into beta! The manuscript is heading to our editor, which means no more major changes will be made to the core systems or structure.
We're locking in the foundation of the game. From here, it's polishing, refinement, and bringing everything to its final form.
📋 Surveys Have Started Going Out
If you're a backer, keep an eye on your inbox! Surveys are being sent out so we can confirm your pledge details, shipping address, and any add-ons or upgrades.

⏰ Sanctum Update - Clock Tracker Now Live
The Clock tracker is now available on Sanctum, our digital hub, for you to use in your games!
Use the clock tracker to manage growing threats, upcoming events or ongoing tasks throughout your game. You can find and use clocks in all kinds of ways during your adventure, for both narrative and gameplay benefits.

We're moving way faster than we expected with this game, and the momentum has been incredible! We're so excited to keep refining and expanding the world of Erwick.
Over the last 2 weeks of playtesting Ash has written and sent out 20 versions of the Alpha so it has now moved the game officially into Beta with all new layout to better depict how the final book will look internally! This brings us one step closer to a final version.
All the Core Rulebook based stretch goals have also been completed which is huge for the game and means the timeline Ash had in mind for Core is speeding along.
🎨 Two New Classes - The Gunslinger & The Sage
Ash has also added two brand new classes to Legends of Akeroth as a thank you to everyone’s support:
⚔️ The Gunslinger - Precision, powder, and pure skill. The Gunslinger brings firearms and tactical expertise to the battlefield.
📖 The Sage - Knowledge is power. The Sage masters arcane secrets through the art of tarot.

The Astral dragon, the Aura dragon, the Mirror dragons, the Moon dragon, the Pyre dragon, the Shard dragon, the Storm dragon and the Sun Dragon, are now officially part of Legends of Akeroth.

Wisps are playful, tricky beings who live in the shadows, forests, and forgotten corners of Akeroth. They're not hostile, but they're not entirely helpful either. Wisps love games, riddles, puzzles, and tests of wit. Encounter one in your travels, and you'll be offered a challenge.
Complete their trials? You might earn a blessing, a treasure, or a piece of hidden knowledge. Fail? Well... let's just say Wisps have a sense of humor, and they're not above a little mischief at your expense! The Wisp rules add a layer of whimsy and unpredictability to exploration in Legends of Akeroth. They reward clever players, punish the overconfident, and make the world feel alive with hidden magic.

I just checked the newest .pdf of the core rulebook and am hoping there will be some editing/revision done before it's actually printed.
Here are a few things I noticed. I'm sure there are more, but these are what I saw just perusing the book.
In the credits section one of the influences is listed as Secrets of Mana. The actual title of the game is Secret of Mana (the first word is not plural).
In the Witch class (on page 91), the Hexblade is still listed as a possible job, despite being removed at one point.
In the Gunslinger class (page 23) the Limit Mastery "The Final Round" mentions something about Trick Shot. That does not exist among the class features, perks, or in any of the job-specific perks.
The rules for multi-classing should be explained in a little more detail. As it stands, there is just a short example that players would have to extrapolate from (in other words, the rules are too vague).
Aside from these things, there are a few grammatical errors I noticed.
So, hopefully, people will go over this with a "fine-toothed comb" and correct as many mistakes as possible.
Beyond all of that, I definitely enjoy how everything is looking. The artwork is amazing, the font style is great, and the rules overall are very simple. It seems like it will be a fun experience when I can get it to the table.
