Thank you so much for once again showing up for these little robots, I'm very pleased with what we funded together!!

After a slight delay in getting my updated shipping profiles sorted out, the Spooky Circuit Pre-Order Store is now OPEN!✨
 

PLEASE NOTE: If you backed during the campaign, to avoid duplicate shipping charges, do NOT use the Pre-Order Store! It is intended for folks who missed the campaign proper but would still like to get in on the initial fulfillment of items funded during the campaign.

If you backed the campaign, you will be able to make your reward selections and add-on additional items in your backer survey. I'm making good progress on piecing everything together and will likely have the survey sent to BackerKit for review in a few days. After approval, I'll send out a smoke test to a small % of backers to confirm that everything is working as intended, and then out to the rest of you! So the current ETA for the survey is within a week, give or take.

Thanks to BackerKit's shiny new Tariff Manager, everything is now also set up to pre-apply tariff costs to US backers' shipping costs. This will be 15% of the physical value of your items - which, as stated across my campaign, is only a portion of their total costs, as every pin, sticker, and patch purchase is bundled with a digital artwork file featuring that design. The digital files will be emailed to backers closer to fulfillment time, and will take the form of some circuit-woven desktop and phone wallpapers featuring your chosen designs. 

To further assist in any financial planning, the physical customs values are declared as: €5 (~$5.80) for pins, €3 (~$3.50) for embroidered patches, and €1 (~$1.20) for stickers. So if for example you ordered 3 enamel pins, your tariff costs would be 15% of $5.80 x 3, or about $2.61. This will all be handled Delivery Duties Paid (DDP), so you won't have to deal with any extra costs at the door!

If for any reason the situation shifts again, the tariff % changes, or any other disruptions come up I will communicate that clearly and promptly in a campaign update, and I am prepared to hold onto parcels as needed until such time that it is clear I can safely ship. But for now PostNL's DDP solution seems to be working smoothly, so I can indeed get goodies to US customers without any additional hassle on your end!

Before we get on to what's next, one other piece of business to attend to: failed charges. By now, BackerKit will have attempted to charge the card you selected for payment a couple of times. Currently, 17 of you have failed or errored payments, which amounts to over 1k in funding. If this is you, please try to sort this out as soon as possible to make sure there will be no disruption in receiving your items!

Now that Short Circuit has been fully fulfilled and Spooky Circuit's backend is nearly sorted out - I'm pleased to announce that I will be participating in Pintopia 2026! The product theme will be pins, plushies, and ita bags, and, well --

I'd like to expand the PCB bot-board pin set a third time, and finally try out something I've been chomping at the bit to do since I first conceived of these lil robits: produce a plush! Count yourself in over here to get updates regarding this endeavor!! 🐺💚

In addition to the Byte plush and some associated accessories, I would like to add an expansion to Unit Line: Water (shark fans rejoice, you will finally be tended to!!) and a sixth new Unit Line: Light. ☀️
