Backerkit has approved the backend set up for Spooky Circuit, and smoke tests have been sent out! 5% of you will have received them in your inbox; if that's you, be sure to respond so I can confirm everything's working as intended, and then the rest of the surveys will be released into the wilds soon after.

I have also sent out emails to those of you who still have failed or errored cards: you can still fix these at the end of your survey to ensure that you receive your items. Please make sure you do so! Pay overtime backers, you will automatically receive your surveys once the final payment of your pledge is settled. c:

I received the embroidered patch samples in the mail and they look so much more gorgeous in person than in the manufacturer photos! The thread is very silky-shiny in a way that really matches the Short Circuit aesthetic, and they feel quite sturdy and well made.

As you are filling out your survey, selecting your add-ons, or browsing the pre-order store, you will notice that each of the six embroidered patch designs are available in two different formats: iron-on backing and plain backing!

As a long-time patch enjoyer myself, offering this option was very important to me as I know the struggle inherent to sewing through the iron-on glue, but that many folks understandably still find it to be a convenient application option. The proportion of each backing style ordered will be dependent on your responses, so get those surveys in!

Now that the pledge manager backend is officially squared away, I am preparing the design files necessary to sample all remaining unlocked pins.

As with my last campaign, backer surveys and the pre-order store will remain open until these are complete, so you will have the chance to see each bot-board "in the metal" before making your final selections! 

The finalized sticker sheet art for Defrag and Decomm are also in progress.

Speaking of sampling, I have contracted with two suppliers to produce prototypes of the Byte plush for my next campaign, Soft Circuit!

A robot plushie is a somewhat more unusual ask (though certainly not unheard of) and plush manufacturers all have different strengths, so the dual sampling should increase our odds of landing on something great in time for their debut with Pintopia 2026!
