I don't think we can let this opportunity "slip" by. (Yes, pun intended). Although we are making great progress toward our stretch goals, I do want to prepare for the potential reality in the near future. I may not get the opportunity to include a slipcase with every order, but I can still make it an option for those of you who want to add it to your current pledge. I won't get the larger volume discount on the slip case production, but that's okay, I can still order a smaller quantity. The vision of The Dragon Story is a slow build, we will get there. But for now, I can focus on smaller numbers, and offer the slipcase as an add-on item. The more I think about this project, the more I want this sketchbook to feel as authentic as possible. I'm pretty close to 100% positive that I want to move to a simplified design for the book itself, then move all the "book info" to the inside of the book, or include the "book Info" on the slipcase. This goes against the grain for standard book publishing best practices, but I'm-a do my own thing.
