We received all the Spindle plushies, and we're currently quality checking and shipping out as we go. We've already shipped out over 25% of packages, so some Spindles have probably already arrived to their new homes. How exciting!
Hello everyone, we hope you've had a wonderful Spring so far! Here are a couple of updates on the progress of the project:
Spindle Plushies are almost done!
The Spindle Hoard will soon arrive! Plushies are currently being quality checked right now, and they should be shipping out to us in late April.
There's so many Spindles!!!
Most other items have already arrived!
Mouse pads, lanyards, pins, keychains and other plushies are already home! We're waiting on the stickers, so once they and the Spindle plushies arrive, we'll be ready to ship out.
Our manufacturer hasn't told us anything about how tariffs will affect production costs. We will speak with them this week in order to figure out how all of this economic uncertainty will affect the project. We'll keep you all in the loop.
Cards will be charged tomorrow
We're charging cards tomorrow, so please keep an eye out for any notifications on declined cards.
Right now only 5% of backers will receive a survey, so check your emails to see if you got it. You'll be able to add add-ons to your orders, like the mouse pads and even more plushies!
More Plushies available!
We're adding two new plushies to the add-on page: the new Mini Bitty Basilisk plush and Blossom the Chonky Chook! If you add them to your cart, they'll all fly together with Spindle when we ship them out.
We'll be vending at a couple of conventions in the following month! Dragon Coop will be at KawaiiCon in Honolulu, Hawaii, Galaxy Con Richmond and Awesome Con in Washington DC! If you're in the area, come and say hi! We'll have the Spindle sample so you can see it in person :)
New Hidden Critter
There's a new Hidden Critter over at the Hidden Critter Club! It's called the Skipping Mossray, and it resembles a Manta Ray-Turtle mix! They grow moss on their backs and curl up into moss balls when they sleep. Visit the Hidden Critter Club to learn more!
The Pledge Manager is almost completely set up, but we're still waiting on the final plush sample to arrive so we can get an accurate weight for shipping purposes. Once that's done, we'll be sending in the surveys.
The project is over and together, we funded 150% of the original goal! Once again, we are soooooo grateful to all of you who decided to put your faith in us and help Dragon Coop bring in another plushie to our Coop. 💛
What's Next?
Cards are currently being charged, so please check your email to see if you've received a failed charge notification and update your card.
We're finishing up the surveys, so they'll be going out this week.
Our manu just came back from Lunar New Year celebrations! We're currently making some small changes to the horns which will make the plush look more like the original drawing. Pictures will be sent when the sample is done. Once we approve the final sample, bulk production will start.
Pin, keychain and other Spindle merch orders will be sent out after 80% of the surveys are filled so we can have a sense of how many to make.
Pre-Orders will be up on the Dragon Coop shop once we have the final sample.
