Project Update: Emberdark Fulfillment Update and a Video from Brandon
This update will include information about the Isles of the Emberdark audiobook, instructions on how to verify or update your mailing address, and an announcement of our campaign support deadline. And—as an extra treat—a video from Brandon talking about Isles of the Emberdark and… a Disney princess?
Fulfillment Progress Overview
Fulfillment of the New Secret Project, Isles of the Emberdark, continues! We are currently at *bing* 51%! You can track fulfillment progress on Brandon’s site. Please do not submit a ticket asking when your pledge will ship until the tracker hits 100%. (This percentage will not include store pre-orders, which will be handled separately.)
We anticipate having all rewards sent to backers by the end of August.
Audiobook Reminders
The expiration date for all Isles of the Emberdark Audible codes is October 10, 2025 at 11:59PM EST (03:59AM UTC). Beginning October 11, 2025, these codes will no longer be redeemable and no new codes can be issued to replace unused ones.
All codes have been successfully delivered. You can find the code on the digital rewards page of your pledge.
Note: The Isles of the Emberdark audiobook was not automatically included in all tiers of the campaign. The $50 and $325 tier do NOT include the audiobook.
Address Updates
Verify that your address on file is accurate in your Backer Survey—this is not your BackerKit account’s associated address, but the address specifically tied to this campaign.
If you need to update your address, please contact our Dragonsteel support team as soon as possible.
Please be aware that:
- Once you receive your shipping notification email, it is too late to update your shipping address on the existing shipment.
- If your package returns to us as a result of an incorrect address, you will be responsible for paying the reshipment fee to your new address.
Campaign Support Deadline
All support related to the Words of Radiance Leatherbound Campaign (including questions surrounding Isles of the Emberdark fulfillment) will end on October 17, 2025.
This means that we will not be able to assist with any damaged, missing, lost, or other requests after October 17.
The Tale of Brandon and Moana
