Project FAQ
Moo is a tabletop roleplaying game where you play as a cow with a secret: you’re far too clever for your own good. Your goal? Escape the farm, blend into society, sabotage your rivals, and ultimately seize control of the country. It’s quick to learn, powered by a normal deck of playing cards, and built for wild stories, ridiculous heists, and the kind of political intrigue that only happens when cows are in charge. Expect sabotage, suspicion, disguises, and a suspicious number of animal puns. You don’t need to have played RPGs before, just bring a sense of humour and a willingness to roleplay as an ambitious bovine with absolutely no chill.
Depending on your pledge level, you’ll receive Soft-Moo, Hard-Moo, Moo Starter Kits, T-Shirts and so much more. You can also add on extra books or a copy of one of our other TTRPGs Like "The Jeff Paradox", or "The Blood Paradox", or one of the editions of the Catalogue of Chaos. Backers at £1 or higher will also have their name included in the “Herd of Heroes” section of the book.
Once you’ve selected a pledge tier, you can add extra items using the Add-Ons section. Available add-ons include: Preview Edition 1 (Print) – £25 Preview Edition 2 (Print) – £25 Preview Edition 3 (Print) – £25 The Jeff Paradox TTRPG – £7 The Blood Paradox TTRPG – £7 Moonited Kingdom T-Shirt – £20 After the campaign ends, you’ll be able to confirm your add-ons in the BackerKit Pledge Manager.
We aim to begin fulfilling digital rewards (PDFs) in September, and print books will ship shortly after that. If there are any unexpected delays, we’ll keep all backers updated through project updates.
Shipping will be charged separately after the campaign through the BackerKit Pledge Manager. This allows us to calculate the most accurate rates based on backer locations. Estimated shipping costs for physical rewards: UK: ~£6 per book EU: ~£10 per book US: ~£12 per book Australia: ~£15 per book If we get more backers than expected, we may be able to negotiate better shipping rates.
Backers outside the UK may be subject to VAT or import duties, depending on local tax laws. We’ll collect any necessary VAT after the campaign through the pledge manager to comply with international regulations.
If you miss the campaign, there may be a limited chance to order through BackerKit Late Pledges, but we can’t guarantee stock.
Yes! You can change your pledge level anytime before the campaign ends by clicking the “Manage Your Pledge” button.
BackerKit FAQ
BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.
If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.
Backers often receive special rewards for their support, such as:
- Exclusive products
- Bonus rewards for backing related projects
- Discount pricing
- Behind-the-scenes updates
- Creative input opportunities
Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.
- Select a pledge level with the reward(s) you would like to receive
- Select any add-ons
- Confirm your pledge!
- You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
- Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.
The creator will send you a survey to:
- Ask you for more information about your rewards (selecting options, etc)
- Collect shipping information
- Offer additional items you may want to add to your pledge
- Collect shipping fees (if applicable)
The survey will be sent to the email address we have on file with your pledge. Additional payments are charged when you complete the survey.
Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.
You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.
Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
