Project Update: $23K Unlocked, Free Absolute Power Character Folio Next, Plus Preparing for the Campaign’s End

You did it! Thanks to your generous pledges, you pushed the campaign over the $23K funding threshold! This means backers at the $44+ PREVIEWER tier and above will receive a brief PDF document that discusses how groups can run Absolute Power as a diceless (i.e. randomless) game.

$25K Stretch Goal: Free Absolute Power Character Folio!

Your superhero works hard and deserves premium treatment, right? If campaign funding reaches $25K, everyone who backs at the $90+ EXPLORER tier and above will receive a bonus copy of the Absolute Power Character Folio for free! This stretch goal will add an extra $10 of value to your pledge as our thanks to you.

How You Can Prepare for the Campaign’s End

With the Absolute Power expansions campaign ending in less than 36 hours (at Thursday, October 19th @ 10 pm EDT), we thought providing you suggestions and reminders about what you can do to prepare for the end would be helpful.

Check Your Credit Card For Space

BackerKit will charge the credit card you entered when you made the pledge promptly after the Kickstarter ends at 10 pm EDT. Why not double check NOW to ensure you have enough credit space available so your pledge funding isn’t denied? If you need to use a different card with more credit space, you can easily make that adjustment now as well (see below).

Adjust Your Pledge To Get Everything You Want

If you need to use a different credit card, or you want to add on items to your pledge, or you want to change your pledge tier (perhaps from a lower tier to the $90+ EXPLORER tier or above to qualify for the free Character Folio stretch goal!), here are the easy steps to follow:

Visit the BackerKit campaign page and log in
Click the “Manage Your Pledge” link beneath your current highlighted pledge tier
Click the “Edit Payment Method” link at the top if you need to enter a different credit card
Click the “Edit Your Pledge” button beneath your current pledge if you want to select a new tier or add on items
Choose the new pledge tier that you want from the drop-down menu if you want to change it
Click the “Edit Add-Ons” button to add more rewards, then press “Proceed to Checkout”
Finally, read through the summary of changes to ensure everything is correct, then click the blue “Confirm Your Pledge” button

Create a DriveThruRPG Account

If you don’t have a DriveThruRPG account, you won’t receive your digital PDF rewards. Why not create an account NOW if you don’t have one (at https://www.drivethrurpg.com/login.php)? It’s best if your DriveThru account email matches your BackerKit account email – you can easily change your BackerKit email address at any time – but not required.

In November we will be sending DriveThru PDF download codes to your BackerKit email address. If your DriveThru email matches your BackerKit email, these download codes will also appear in your DriveThru inbox even if the email we send it send to your spam folder (which sometimes happens, especially if you have a Hotmail email account). Otherwise, you may not automatically receive your download codes when the other backers do, and we’ll need to work with you to retrieve the download codes that we sent to your BackerKit email address.
