It's been an interesting first day of the crowdfund! After 24 hours, we hit our funding goal, blew through the first stretch goal, and are just about halfway to our second stretch goal, which will add the amount of art in the zine!

A Bookmark for All Backers
Go to that link and share the campaign to Facebook. If we reach 50 shares, all campaign backers will receive a special bookmark with art by Tony Tran. It will be similar in theme and design to the bookmark for the Cross Collab reward.

We're off to a great start! By far the best first day of funding I've had on a crowdfund and we're only about three hours into it! Makes me hopeful that we can hit some of these Stretch Goals! Would be tremendous if we hit that first stretch goal today.

We'll be showing off some more of Tony's cover art for the zine as the campaign progresses, but here's a taste of some of the art he's done for the Broken River Crew on various projects.

We're in the final stretch to launch and I wanted to share the result of the poll we ran last week.

While Fiction was the clear winner here, there was a lot of interest in nonfiction as well! We'll use this as sort of a guide for what the zines will look like. Not all fiction, but mostly fiction, and then, of course, some of the amazing art by Tony Tran.

Speaking of art, we've been tinkering around with the look of the zine. We're fiddling with sharp colors and a unified look or maybe making each zine its own little artistic beast. And so we have a few styles we're playing with using the Rider-Waite tarot deck. Here are some examples.

But then there's the appeal of each zine being its own little monsters with its own style. This let's Tony do what he does, and we all love that.

Just two more days! We're so close to 100 followers in the campaign, so help spread the word! We're hoping for a big launch to kickstart the whole endeavor and blow through our funding goal so we can add lots of cool features.

Since announcing this zine two weeks ago, over 80 of you have signed up to learn more about our campaign. That's tremendous!

We're two weeks from launching the campaign and it would be amazing to hit that 100 Followers total. If we do, all the covers for the magazine will be in full color! So help spread the word! Tell your friends!

Our goal is to send you not just stories and essays, but a beautiful object to have in your house. Something you'll want to return to again and again, even if only to thumb through the pages. At the same time, we want to keep the cost down so that you're not breaking the bank by subscribing to our magazine.

The best way to marry high quality product with reasonable cost is through volume. And that's why we're hoping to have a strong launch in two weeks and the best way to have a strong launch is to get people to follow the campaign now, before it launches.

We'll have a poll coming early next week to try to gauge what is most important to all of you for the zine.
