Hi there! We are Liz and Kristen. We are artists based in WV but with roots in PA. This is our first backerkit ever, and we are so very excited to use this platform to help expand our growing business! We both love the art that we create and are so thrilled to be able to share it with as many people as possible.
Our goal with this campaign is to fund the expansion of our business into a new product line called Hair Buddies. We will be creating a few different products, but the biggest of which is the novelty hair claw clips featured here. We are currently working with a manufacturer in order to bring these products to life based on our own art. They are a continuation of some other products that we currently offer and also an opportunity to grow.
We are also launching some smaller products like hair elastics with our art featured on attached charms. Our goal is to get the funding to have a successful product launch and get these new products into the hands of you, our most valuable supporters!
This Backerkit campaign will allow us to purchase enough stock to supply everyone with the products that they want as quickly as possible. You won't be charged until the campaign ends successfully. At that time, you can also expect to receive a survey that will allow you to make your final item selections.

Each hair claw is approximately 10cm long and made from molded acetate.
The base funding goal will include claw clips of Mothman and the Flatwoods Monster. We hope that with extra funding, we will be able to add at least one stretch goal and include an adorable opossum in this product launch. This project is still in the early design phases, and we intend to keep you all updated on any and all developments as far as design changes. Because this is our first time designing this type of accessory, we may need to make modifications to the art, but our priority is creating the best product possible. If it's cute, but won't hold your hair well, that just won't do! Check back for updates to see how things develop.
