Hi Everyone! I want to thank you all again for your support and provide you with a small update!
In the last few weeks since the backerkit has ended, we have been working with our manufacturer and a couple of new samples are now in progress! We took all the best things about the first samples, and tried to fix up all the weaknesses. The mockup images looked great, and now we are waiting for the samples to be completed and shipped to us. Our hope is that they will be in the mail before the Chinese New Year begins, but there is a chance that it will take longer.
If you don't know much about the process of having things manufactured in China, you may not know that for the Chinese New Year in February, much of the country has some extended holiday vacation time. They're doing their best to work with us around their holidays, but there's always a chance for some delays. We will be updating you along the way, of course, and you'll be some of the first to know when the next round (and hopefully final round!) of samples arrive!

We have the first set of schematics for our cryptids! The images below show our designs with the sprint and claw placements. With these first drafts approved, our manufacturer is working on creating a sample of each that we will be able to have in our hands and hopefully push on to production approval!
The claws both have different styles of teeth which we determined based on the size and shape of the art. I am feeling pretty good about the Flatwoods Monster, but we think that we may have to go through one more version of Mothman before we are truly happy with it.
