Project Update: And the cover art goes to...
Packing station for Volume 7! Featuring a range of prints/goodies, some new business cards (bottom center), and the current half-empty box of books. (I put some cardboard on top of the books when I'm not working, so they won't get scratched up if a cat decides to jump in.)
Also in that box: the sketchbook with the original Volume 7 cover art.
For everyone who got a ticket this year, I put the names in Pickerwheel.com, and the winner is...
...Aimee C! Congratulations, Aimee! (Looks like buying two tickets can pay off.)
Hoping I can get most of the US rewards shipped by the end of next week, and then I'll start into the rest of the world. Stay tuned.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Books are here! US addresses locked
Tuesday: give blood, now double up on fluids & no heavy lifting
Wednesday: your print run of 100 books in 5 chonky boxes has been delivered to the front door of your building!
...I basically hauled them to my flat, one at a time, then drank a bunch of juice, then went back to sleep. Good news is, I woke up in time to get some nice photos in the afternoon sun.
US backers: hopefully you just got the "time to finalize your shipping address" email! If you've moved house since filling out your survey, get that updated in the next 48 hours. Once addresses are locked, I'll start packing and shipping.
International backers: after I get the first round of these in the mail, I'll circle back to you. Hang tight.
...also, sorry about my country. (A sentiment that has never really gone away, but, you know, this year is taking it to special new heights.)

Project Update: First look at the Volume 7 print proof
The proof pages for Volume 7 are here!
As usual, my phone camera doesn't perfectly capture the colors. But they look beautiful in person, as you'll see for yourself once the paperbacks get into your hands.
The production is approved to go ahead. And, hey, this season there's no planned construction blocking the deliveries to my building! Cross your fingers nothing else unexpected happens, and it all goes smoothly from here.

Project Update: Get the Volume 7 ebook now!
The Volume 7: Golden Chains ebook is now live and for sale!
Backers who got the ebook, look out for an email from BackerKit with your discount coupon for 100% off.
I'm pretty sure I sent that correctly, but if it doesn't show up: you can also find the download info in your backer survey.
If you got multiple ebooks, all your coupons should be bundled together in the same email. Missing any? Comment and let me know.
(Links will only show up if your survey is finished, and if your shipping/add-on payment was charged successfully. If you don't see any links at all, check both those things first.)
If you spot any typos, duplicate/missing strips, or other issues in Volume 7, please let me know that too! The high-resolution files have not been sent to the printer yet -- there's still time to fix any issues before the paperbacks happen.

Project Update: Backer Wallpapers + book check-in
For your campaign wallpapers, scroll down to the Exclusive Backer Content section at the end of this post!
Most of the backer surveys are now locked. If you got add-ons, or have international shipping to pay for, you'll be charged for that closer to when I'm ready to ship.
Addresses do not get locked until I'm full-on about to start printing package labels. Which is probably still a couple months out. So if your relocate in the meantime, you can put the new address in your survey.
I'm making steady progress on the ebook, it's just, we're deep into the parts that would be pretty boring to post about. Today I spent a lot of time on "adding footnotes" and "finalizing the TOC page numbers." Tomorrow's plan includes "entering metadata for the ISBN records." Riveting stuff.
