Project Update: US shipping + International address locking
US backers: Most of your orders are in the mail!
Haven't shipped this one yet, but I found a box that's exactly the right size to hold "a BICP box set + the entire Leif & Thorn backlist." Good job saving that one, Past Me.
International backers: The "48 hours left to update your address" email just went out. That means they'll be locked on Monday night, and I should be ready to ship the first few on Tuesday.
...I honestly have no idea if any of Trump's stupid tariffs are supposed to apply to "items that were preordered 4+ months ago, but are getting shipped in April." For now, my plan is just "put everything in the mail as usual, cross my fingers the stamps.com price isn't hugely different, see what happens."
(My printer for the Leif & Thorn books is based in the US already, so it won't screw up that part when we get to Volume 8. That said, all my sympathies to the local artists/creators who have non-US-based production pipelines. You deserve better than to have your workflow screwed over by Republicans.)
