Project Update: Junk City progress: Item cards & Pledge Manager Survey

Hi everyone, I'm back with this month's update on our progress on Junk City.

Item Cards

We're nearing the finishing line in terms of getting everything ready, with only a few larger tasks outstanding. The focus this month has been on finishing the remaining adventures. All adventures bar one are fully laid-out, play-tested and ready for the final proof-reading & editing phase.

In the Truth Machine, you'll explore an ant-haunted printing machine, running automatically to print the Truth and only the Truth.

And 2 Remote 2 Control is now fully complete, with four race tracks to face down.

I've also been very busy completing all of the other things we need to do before the box set can go to print. Designing the box cover, finalising the guidebook and last but not least, compiling the Item & Condition card sheets for each adventure. There are 120 (!) unique illustrations for the multitude of trash, treasure and terrible conditions you can collect on your adventures through Junk City.

Pledge Manager Survey

We expect to have the Pledge Manager Survey out to backers by the end of next week! It has been more complex than anticipated with the group shipping, so that you so much for your patience while we make sure we have everything set up correctly. We will send out another update next week when surveys are sent out!

Thanks!
Isaac, Andre, and the EF Team

Happy that you all are making good progress. This is my first time backing a group-collab project. Would it be possible accurate to assume if one of the group shipping projects is behind that it will delay the shipping of all 13 projects shipping together? About a third of the projects haven’t published an update in over 3 months, so I am a little concerned about that. I know things get delayed quite a bit with crowd funding projects, so I am ready for that. Just wishing they would let us know where they are in the process.

Project Update: Junk City guidebook progress

Hi everyone! We've been working hard this month on finishing off the guidebook for Junk City. It's a densely-detailed setting, with so many nooks and crannies to explore and mysteries to solve. Even without the adventure modules, the Junk City setting guidebook could act as a great campaign starting point.

And we're not forgetting the many mice and other creatures who inhabit the City. Each district includes a guide to the notable residents.

And on top of this, we including a full set of tables for generating new city NPCs, and for rolling up new city-born player mice when your mice inevitably succumb to Junk City's many dangers.

Thanks for your patience, we'll be in touch soon with more progress and more exciting things to share.

Project Update: Junk City Racing + what we've been up to

Hi everyone, January is over already and we're racing into the new year!

We've been working hard behind the scenes to work with the folks at Backerkit to prepare the Massive Pledge Manager. It's so massive they're having to build some custom features to make it work! We'll have more updates on this soon.

We're also back to work on finishing adventures. I've been spending my time focusing on 2 Remote 2 Control. In this adventure your mice will take control of remote control cars and race across Junk City for the biggest prize of all: A shard of the broken gate to the Faerie lands.

Because I love minigames, the racing is handled in a custom ruleset which I've been focusing on perfecting. Like Mausritter, the racing rules are fast, flexible and exciting. You'll use a standard set of polyhedral dice to act as your car's gears, trying to roll the perfect value without spinning out of control.

Thanks for your patience while we work on getting everything done. We're excited to share more about the adventures we're working on, and getting the pledge manager finished and out to all of you!

Hello, I'm super excited to be a backer on this project. I've not played Mausritter yet but it's had my attention for a while now. I backed at the "Digital Everything" level, and I understand Junk City will obviously take some time to complete but can you tell me when I should expect to receive the Box Set and The Estate? I think they're delivered through Drivethrurpg? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks and keep up the good work!
