The Tasmanian Devil is a marsupial, and they generally have higher body temperatures than placental mammal, the average for the tazzy devil is 38°C. Platypus and Echidna are monotremes, and their body temperature is lower. Platypus body temperatures however around 32°C and Echidnas even lower, around 20-32° max (though down to 5° during "torpor", when they conserve as much energy as possible).
