Just a quick update, that your orders will lock in 24 hours. After your orders lock I will tally the item counts and order all the pins! Remember, that your cards will be charged shortly before shipping, so don't worry about that yet. Unlock more pins!
You can also unlock two more pins by preordering: alternative designs for Aquila and Pisces! During the campaign you got to vote for you favourite designs, but I want to give you the chance to unlock both the fish and the owl design now, because the polls really were very close!
How to unlock:
Both Preorders and Backers can help unlock the designs! Add the listing to your cart and check out as usual. If you are a backer, you get access to all the add-ons again through the survey, including the listings for the owl and fish pin.
If we reach 25 preorders for a design, it will be created - and if we don’t, the item will be cancelled and you get your money back. Basically, it’s a tiny crowdfunding campaign! If you’ve backed the campaign, please do not preorder through the store: you’ll pay for shipping twice. If you want to add more to your pledge, you can do that with the survey.
The campaign has successfully concluded and I’ve been hard at work finalising the designs and creating the pledgemanager. Thank you all for your support. Together we unlocked all designs and add-ons! This is just a small heads-up that surveys will be going out at the end of the week. Read on to learn more.
Failed Payments
As of right now, about 1,200€ in pledges have failed, which is a bit more than 10% of our total funding. If you haven’t yet found a charge from Backerkit on your credit statement, I urge you to check and update your payment details. You have until the end of the week to update your details.
Funds from the campaign are released to me next week, which means we can move on into the next stage of the campaign: the Surveys!
Surveys
Rewards will be coordinated using the Backerkit Survey. Expect the surveys by the end of this week. This is the point where you choose your designs. Surveys will close March 11th, but the sooner you complete the survey, the sooner I can order the pins, so try to complete it asap.
You will also confirm your shipping costs during the survey. If applicable, you will also be charged VAT (UK) or tariffs (15%, US). However, I will only charge your cards shortly before shipping, in case a cheaper shipping option becomes available again for the US or the tariffs are lowered (based on the Supreme Court ruling).
US Customers: Please note you will be charged for the current tariff level (15%). If the tariffs are lowered based on the supreme court ruling, I will reimburse you the difference. If a cheaper shipping option becomes available I will also reimburse you. If tariffs are increased (because of the annoying orange), you will not be charged more than 15%.
I will be charging your cards a week before shipping your orders, so you will receive the most accurate rates.
Preorder Store
The preorder store opens at the end of the week! If you didn’t get a chance to pledge during the campaign this will be the last chance to get these pins at a discounted price. The preorder store will close on March 11th.
If you are a campaign backer, do not order from the preoder store - you’d be paying for shipping twice. You can add more items to your order during the survey.
US Customers: You will be charged for tariffs and shipping when you preorder. If a cheaper option becomes available or tariffs are lowered, I’ll reimburse you!
That’s right, 3 weeks flew past and Pintopia is nearly over. In just over 24 hours the project will end and amazingly we finally unlocked the last stretchgoal: a handmade colouring book!
Just like the colouring book for my last project, this one will be handmade in my studio, feature about 14-16 colouring pages along with a TON of fun facts - I just love to yap. It is available with paper suitable for alcohol markers or mixed media, and as a big THANK YOU, all books purchased during the campaign will be hardcover for the price of a softcover!
Add it to your pledge now or during the pledgemanager, where you will also be able to choose paper type.
