Quick update from Bird Chaos HQ: YOU are absolutely launching this project into the stratosphere!
We've been smashing through stretch goals and have unlocked the Ruby-throated Hummingbird (pin & earrings), African Gray, Peach-Fronted Lovebird, Hoatzin, and Green-Cheeked Conure, as well as the FREE adorable crane colt sticker sheet for all $25+ backers:

At time of writing we are 99% of the way to unlocking the osprey pin, and then we just have *two* pin designs left, the Aplomado Falcon (my favorite falcon) and Loon!
Your pledges are already helping us fund the wildlife work we do year‑round; the rescues, the midnight feedings, the education campaigns, the “is the broken-leg crane ok??" at 3 AM moments. You’re part of all of it now.
A LOT of you have incredible communities full of bird people, art people, nature goblins people, and general chaos enthusiasts. People who might love being part of this too.

P.S. Here are some of our juvenile cranes who have moved into the spacious new pre-release aviary we just finished for them! They immediately began happy hoppy-flaps, jumps, dances, and have been exploring their new digs. It will be a great space for them to build up muscles needed for the long migration coming up very soon.
Look at those beautiful bustles! They are transforming from gangly teens to real cranes so fast right now.
