Project Update: Update: Shipping Complete & An Apology
Update!
Let's start with the good news! Shipping is complete on the project!
This was our first time using BackerKit Crowdfunding, and our first time in half a decade using their fulfillment back end, so while we did our best, I do feel like there's a higher chance of error (new/refreshed systems and processes always seem to produce that).
If you have any issues or concerns about your order or there is a mispack you can reach out to [email protected] and we'll do our best to address it and make it right. We've had a handful of small issues or damages to replace, but we'll get those sorted as they come in (it generally takes us 2-4 business days to get that processed).

An Apology
Flat out, we forgot the early bird backer stickers. That was on us.
When we were using the backend of BackerKit to collate the items, for some reason (either we set it up wrong, we didn't include the item right, pulled a report wrong or something), the sticker didn't show up in the Pledge Manager system and so we missed including it at multiple points (when we gathered counts, when the system printed the invoices for shipping, etc).
We flat out just shipped packages without the sticker. I (Alan) am very sorry. The ball was dropped by me and I should have caught it. I'm frustrated by this oversight and I can't really do anything other than apologize profusely and try to find a way to make it right.
There are a little over one hundred of you owed a sticker. For those of you affected, we have two options:

There are a little over one hundred of you owed a sticker. For those of you affected, we have two options:
- First, we can print and ship the sticker on its own for you. We're obviously willing to do this. We screwed up, we promised the sticker, we'll get it to you.
- Second, we can offer some sort of other incentive (discount in the GKG webstore, a free PDF of some kind). We're open to ideas if you have something else you'd prefer (rather than a single package with a single sticker).
I am deeply sorry. It's been a frustrating six months for me, and I feel terrible about this.
- Alan.
