By now the news has probably reached your interstellar outpost from the mothership, but I just wanted to send a quick update letting you know that fulfillment of O' Happy Dagger! has commenced! We are grateful to Goodman Games for inviting us to take part in this collaborative campaign, and for running point on this complex multi-project fulfillment enterprise (no pun intended--away teams would really struggle on the Purple Planet!).
We've been having a ball playing through the module on Honor Among Thieves, and we'll be playing more Sunday, January 19th, at 5:30 p.m. CST, along with our usual DCC-themed fun. Stop by and say hello! https://www.youtube.com/@GoodmanGames
Thanks again for helping making this project a reality. We're so excited for you to play this module!
Martin at Gaming Honors
Oh, and if you haven't backed the amazing Terror from the Underdeep campaign, get Kraken! (Pun Intended!)
You will never guess what arrived in the mail yesterday! Ok,maybe you will.....
Don't worry: we ordered more than two copies!
The book turned out great! Now we will go through the order and make sure it's...in order, and then it is off to the distribution center! Remember that all of the Purple Planet projects will ship together, and Goodman Games will calculate shipping costs for orders once all the projects have arrived. Our love-lorn Ascended Masters will soon be part of the mix, so THANK YOU!
But we are not resting on our laurels! Rob and Adam, two of Gaming Honors' metal heads, have a new adventure in store for all of us: METAL GODS OF THE APOCALYPSE!
Get ready to ROCK!
Get ready for a savage, third-level DCC- or 5E-compatible adventure for 4-6 hardcore players, cranked to 11 and steeped in the hard-charging chaos of heavy metal. Heroes shred their way through a demon-infested cathedral to claim the mantle of a Horseman of the Apocalypse. Only those who are truly metal will earn the right to pass judgment on a dying world!
Follow Metal Gods NOW and be among the first to hear when we launch!
Thank you for making all of this intergalactic and metal mayhem possible.
I hope that you have all been drinking your Moon Milk! We are in the final stages of formatting the module, and now that the Survey To Rule Them All has been completed, we will be able to go to press soon. Those of you who backed at the "What's In a Name?" level, please check your email: in the process of creating the Surveyest Survey that ever Surveyed, our question regarding how you would like your name listed in the module was omitted. Andrea has reached out to everyone to make sure we get your information right. If for some reason the link she sent doesn't work, please feel free to reply to the email with your information.
Thanks again for making this project a reality, and remember, all the world's a stage, even a purple world!
But soft! What light through yonder email breaks?!
Greetings, Purple Planeteers!
As some of you might have heard, Goodman Games mailed a "smoke test" survey to a sampling of backers this past weekend. The complexity of combining multiple projects into one survey (to consolidate shipping and eliminate innumerable emails) is considerable, and the smoke test revealed some bugs that the Backerkit folks are working on now. Thanks for your patience as we get all our Gribbs in a row!
This Gribb is having a bad day. Would YOU intervene? Remember, the quality of mercy is not strained...save on the Purple Planet!
In the meantime, we are nearing the final days of our latest campaign, this time for a 3rd-5th level DCC-Compatible adventure, The Exorcist Awaits! Join us...before it's too late!
Hmm...seems like someone needs a bit of assistance...
Thanks again for helping us bring our classic tale of tragedy, romance, stampedes and mad kings to the Purple Planet!
We have returned home after traveling to an exciting world known as Gen Con! While we were there, I had the chance to run O' Happy Dagger!, and all of the players were backers! A great time was had by all...Of course, I'm partial. What say you, Saturday heroes? NO SPOILERS!
The dramatic chops of these four were quite impressive!
I am also excited to share with you Matt Morrow's amazing drawing for the two-page spread!
Don't worry. I'm sure your heroes will be fine...
Goodman Games is finalizing the Epic Purple Planet Survey (patent pending!) to ensure all rewards go where they need to go, and I'll be sure to let you know when you can look for it in your inbox!
