Thank you so much for being as patient as you are. I deeply apologize for the long wait for an update on this project. (TLDR: Personal details aside, all products are currently in the manufacturing stage and another update will be posted once everything is finalized and ready to ship out. Please finish your survey if you haven’t already.) 

I’m still committed to following through with this project and hope that the finished product is something we can all look forward to. The timing of everything was just a little unfortunate as I had sent out the surveys mid-November. Then by mid-December, only 70% of backers had finished their surveys. With the holidays just around the corner, I decided to take this time to wait on the last chunk of people to finish up while I go flying in and out of state for a big convention the weekend before Christmas (wow), and then finally give myself a well-needed break. 

Then January hits, and it hit hard.

I prefer to not share too many personal details, so in short, in the past couple months I’ve been dealing with some medical issues and then very recently grieving a family member. It’s been incredibly difficult to get any work done, and I have a bad habit of shutting myself out from everyone when I’m at my wits end. I do work alone and it’s admittedly discouraging to watch the work pile up so high on my plate, but now I’m doing my best to take it on bit by bit. Again, the delay for this project was neither planned nor communicated to you all and I’m really sorry about that. I feel fortunate enough that I am even able to take breaks like this, it’s just not the ideal scenario.

On a related note, there is still a small handful of you that have yet to fill out their surveys. You guys are more than welcome to take your time, just be aware that I will not be able to ship out your goods until those are filled out and done. For everyone else, I’ll be locking orders in the next day or so. If you need to do an address change, this would be the time to do so. The company that manufactures everything had been on a month long break for Chinese New Year, and starting March they’re now resuming their work and will soon give me some new updates, hopefully with any new photos of the merch. When that time comes, I’ll be sure to provide another update. It’s been a long time comin but I’m excited to see the end product.

Although the funding goal for the coffin ita pouch wasn't met, I have decided that I am going to pay out-of-pocket to bring it into reality! The coffin ita pouch was a concept I'd designed waaay back when, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to start manufacturing the design.

Be on the lookout for those surveys! I can't move onto starting the manufacturing process until everyone's completed theirs. Remember, the survey lets you add anything extra if you so please. They should be sent out sometime soon in the next few days as I have to wait for the greenlight on Backerkit's end. I'll provide another update when all the surveys are in and possibly another estimate to the timeline for shipping out everyone's orders depending on the timing of everything.

For those who missed out on the campaign, I'm considering doing some pre-orders through my online store if there's enough interest. Regardless of interest, whatever leftover pins that may come from the manufacturing process will most likely be up for sale at a later date, but no promises!
