Welcome to the City State of the Invincible Overlord! This amazing setting was first released way back in 1976. Since we’re already thinking about the early days of D&D, we’d love to hear from backers about their earliest D&D adventure. What was the first D&D adventure you played or DM’d? Tell us about your favorite moment in that game!

What are the plans for the series after this? I get that WOTC has pulled their license, and you are clearly unhappy with your relationship with JG. so what is left?

Hello everyone! Welcome to day two of this project. It was really fun reading all the stories of how you all first encountered D&D. So today we have another "conversation starter" for you. In the spirit of City State of the Invincible Overlord, let's talk about urban fantasy campaigns. Tell us about your city campaign - maybe your PC's favorite shop in the city, or as a DM your favorite monster to use in an urban setting, or perhaps just what kind of trouble the PCs in your campaign got themselves into the last time they had an urban adventure. So what's YOUR fun D&D story from an urban fantasy campaign?

I know it can't have been easy for Goodman Games to sit on this much material, this sheer mass of writing, for as long as they have. I'm glad they found a way to release it. I'm glad they found a way to make as many people who were burned in 2014 whole. We all know the terms of the license to Judges Guild here are not ideal, but I respect that Goodman has done as much as they can to be as fair to the fans as possible. The price is the price, and it's frankly still a value to me at this price. There's not much Goodman could have done to add the things people are asking for (hardcovers, additional booklets, etc.) without raising that price further, especially not where printing costs are currently. This is a boxed set full to bursting, and I'm really looking forward to it.

In the FAQ, you state: In addition, the lead authors had access to Bob Bledsaw Sr.’s handwritten original manuscript for CSIO, which contains some material that has never before been seen. As far as we know, no other CSIO publication has ever had access to these notes. This newly revealed source material has been integrated into our 5E and DCC conversions. Any chance you can give us a sneak peak at what was in the notes? How it changes things (or not)? Thanks!
