Project Update: Rewards are on their way!

I'm coming up out of my science daze to let y'all know that rewards have begun shipping!

I have NEARLY all of the orders packed up and ready to go.
- About 120 orders are already en route and I've received word that some have already arrived! Wee!
- Another ~200 are in my car and will be dropped at the shipper tomorrow (I had them packed and then spent the last 8 days in bed with COVID... what a way to start the year... do not recommend!)
A Note about the UV flashlights
Unfortunately, the supplier sent me a different model of flashlights, and as it took me several weeks to get the box opened for fulfilment, it was too late to request an exchange (this is one of the dangers of working with companies overseas, and with waiting too long to unbox.. that part is on me 100%). So, while the model is different and unfortunately not rechargeable as originally intended, these still offer a good strong UV glow and only use 1 AA battery (you can use rechargeables if you want!). I have included a AA in each one to get your started. I'm really sorry for the unexpected swap, but unfortunately I don't have the funds to order over 200 more flashlights at this time.
HANDMADE DICE TRAY BACKERS PLEASE READ
I ran into a pretty major issue with the trays when I opened them up to start fulfilling... Naturally Nerdy did not send the battery packs that should have been included with each tray. The samples that they sent me included these battery packs (since they are essential for the trays to light up, their key feature) and so I fully expected them to be included with the final product. Naturally Nerdy declined to send me the packs nor to refund me the money that I would need to purchase them myself, so I have gone to the personal added expense of purchasing battery packs for all of the trays, and they will be shipping out within the next couple of weeks. There were a couple of trays that had some pretty major flaws, but I am 99% sure that I have enough trays to make sure that nobody receives these flawed trays. Needless to say I'm not thrilled with this situation, but in the end everyone who purchased a tray will get exactly what they ordered, and that's what matters. Rest assured, I will not be sending out any of the flawed trays.
Long story short: we're almost done!!
I am going to do my best to get an email out to every backer within the next couple of weeks that includes tracking info for their rewards, so please keep an eye out for an email from me ([email protected]).

Project Update: Almost Shipping Time!
Hello lovely nerds!
IT'S ALMOST TIME!
Just a quick update to let y'all know that nearly everything is in my possession. I'm still waiting on the enamel pins and stickers (pins are en route and stickers are in production) and the trays, which Naturally Nerdy is sending my way soon.
Backers with Handmade UV-inlay dice trays
With that in mind, I've made a change to the way that backers who purchased a tray will have their orders fulfilled. Initially I'd expected it to be less expensive for Naturally Nerdy to ship trays directly from their workshop to backers, but we did some math and it turns out that having them all shipped to me, and then me including them with the rest of your pledge, will save each backer between $30-45CAD. Wowzers!
A rough estimate
So, all this to say: Most folks will be looking at postage around $16-20CAD. This falls right around my original shipping estimate for the project. For those with heavier parcels, this price will increase. If you get your shipping payment request in the next few days and it seems weirdly high, please reach out and I'll happily get a specific quote for your exact parcel.
TL; DR: AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!
My hope at this point is to start packaging in December, and to ship in early January. I would prefer not to ship in December because my experience has been that things are FAR more likely to get lost in the mail during this extremely busy postage time of year, and I was not able to order enough extra dice or add-ons to replace a ton of missing parcels. I hope y'all will understand on this one. We are still shipping well ahead of our originally projected May 2025 fulfilment estimate.

Project Update: Big Update time!
Hello all and happy Spoopy Season!
Quick but big update today.
I had thyroid surgery on October 17 (it went well, i'm sore but fine!) and have taken advantage of the downtime to begin wrapping up some loose ends with this campaign.

Product Stuff
All stickers, pins, and flashlights have been ordered. The dice, tins, and bags have been delivered to my parents' place where we will be fulfilling from (I haven't seen them yet since I haven't really left home since my surgery and they arrived a few days ago, but I can't wait to get to unboxing!).
I'm told that the trays are well on their way to completion and I sent over Tray backers' addresses to Naturally Nerdy so he can begin getting shipping quotes for those backers.

Other News
In other news, I've closed up my online shop and have wrapped up my resin dice-making journey. I'll be returning to school in January and am looking forward to this next chapter! I'm sad to be closing up a business that I loved so much and that introduced me to so many amazing people and experiences, but I'm not going anywhere and will still be very active in online TTRPG communities. Project Update: Dice are done!! *WITH PICS*
Hello lovelies!
I hope that September is treating you well. I got an email from the workshop team over in Hong Kong and the dice are finished! They are currently being lovingly packed into tins and readied to ship to me here in Canada. Once they are on their way, we'll be ready to start fulfilment. I'm getting the other little bits and bobs (stickers, pins, etc) ready as well. While I don't have an exact date for you, I'm expecting fulfilment should be finished by the end of this calendar year, which is great!
As for Seat at the Table backers, this is definitely on my to-do list. Unfortunately I've been pretty wildly busy in my personal life (moved into a new place about 2 weeks ago, with so much to do!!) so my apologies for the delay on getting that moving. It's coming, promise!
Once I get an estimated shipping date from the production team, I will get the backerkit shipping collection going and we can get the ball (dice?) rolling on that, too. So stay tuned, things are happening! 😍😍😍
