My plan is to take the truckload of boxed up DOOM to the Post Office Tuesday and get them shipped off.
Orders that include a Clerk of Courts might go out a little later. I’d like to add at least one more coat of finish to them and give them time to dry thoroughly before shipping.

The gavels are mostly finished.
Tonight the bottom of the handles got a gold coat.
And I spent a few hours putting stamps onto foam backing.

Much more work on the finish. The original plan was to make the Gavels of DOOM mostly with a natural finish.
But this glossy dark brown is amazing!
Of course, it means 2 or 3 more coats of finish. But I think you’ll be happier with the final product.

Was not expecting that paint job. Fancy! Looks great, will have to try it out at tomorrow's game...assuming I can kill somebody's character. May call an audible and run a funnel. If you have any extra clerks of courts to sell, let me know. After seeing how the gavel came out, I am definitely regretting not picking one of those up too.
