Hello, Nocturnal Adventurers!

This update won’t be a long one, and there aren’t major milestones to announce just yet but we want to keep you updated on this project step by step.

Over the past weeks, we’ve taken some time to step back, gather our thoughts, and realign our creative focus. Despite the many ongoing commitments tied to the broader Nightfell editorial line, we’ve officially begun working on Witches Path, and the coming months will be dedicated to pouring creativity into this sourcebook.

The period behind us has been a full one, both on a human and professional level. We are a very small team, and keeping the studio running while advancing multiple projects requires care, balance, and time. That said, my desire to dedicate myself to Witches Path is stronger than ever.

Speaking personally, as Angelo Peluso, I can say that I’m currently working on the outline, organizing the structure of the book, coordinating with our internal artists for the illustrations, and bringing order to the stretch goals so everything can grow in a coherent and meaningful way.

Speaking about bright things, we also have some good news to share:
The special edition dice set have already been sent to the manufacturers for production. This means that when the files for Witches Path will eventually be ready for print, the dice will already be waiting, sealed in their crypt, ready to be released onto your tables.

As always, thank you for your continued support, patience, and trust. We’ll do our best to be in touch again sooner than usual, to keep nurturing this world together and helping it grow, step by step.

As the year comes to a close, we’d like to wish you all wonderful holidays and we also wanted to share a quick update on Witches’ Path and let you know how things are moving forward.

At the moment, the project is in an active planning and research phase. We’ve been gathering references, studying themes, and refining the foundations before moving back into writing and artwork production (something we’re really looking forward to).

On the Grim Moon Discord, some of you have also recently contributed thoughtful suggestions and interesting reading references while we were discussing themes and sources of inspiration. Those inputs have been genuinely appreciated and reflect the kind of engaged participation we value around the project.

Looking ahead, we plan to release a broader roadmap for Witches’ Path, as well as for the wider Nightfell publishing line. Our goal is to continue expanding and enriching the setting with new content and when the time comes, we’d love to involve the community in that conversation.

A quick update to let you know that we identified an issue affecting shipping fees on some add-ons during survey completion. This was caused by a mismatch between shipping profiles, and for a few backers it showed incorrect additional shipping costs.

 All shipping profiles are now correct, and your surveys should accurately reflect the intended costs.

If you already completed your survey and noticed something strange: don’t worry. Since no cards are being charged yet, nothing has been processed, and everything is now aligned to the proper values.
If you haven’t completed your survey yet, you can proceed safely.

Now, here are the great news: the Pledge Manager is now officially open!
You can now finalize your rewards, choose your language options, add any extra items you want, and provide your shipping information.

You will receive an email from BackerKit (within 48h) containing your personal survey link. If you can’t find it, try searching for “BackerKit” or check your spam folder. You can also request a new link directly on BackerKit using the “Lost your survey?” option or write to us at [email protected].

Once inside the survey, you’ll see the pledge level you selected during the campaign. If everything looks correct, you’re good to go. If something feels off, feel free to reach out — we’re here to help.
You can also upgrade your pledge level if you want.

Most items come in English or Italian, and the survey will let you select the language you prefer.

Additionally, for anyone who pledged at €1 or chose digital-only tiers, you’ll find a quick question asking if you backed the project within the Early Bird window.
This question helps us verify more easily who qualifies for the Early Bird digital gift, so thank you in advance for answering it!

Inside the survey you can browse the full list of add-ons. If you’d like to pick up additional books or extras, now’s the perfect moment. Every add-on selected here will automatically be associated with the correct SKU based on the language you choose.

Physical backers: you’ll be asked for your shipping address and the system will calculate the proper shipping fees based on your location and items' quantity.
Digital-only backers won’t need to enter any address.

If you added new items or if your tier requires shipping fees, BackerKit will ask you to complete payment at the end of the survey. Everything is handled directly and securely through their platform.
Note: At this stage you only need to give your payment infos, we'll not charge your cards now.

While it’s always best to complete the survey as soon as you can, don’t worry: the Late Pledge will remain open for many months.
This means that even after completing your survey, you’ll still have the opportunity to come back later to add new add-ons, or to update your shipping address if needed.

So no rush — but completing it early really helps us plan production more efficiently.

Hello everyone,

This time I’m writing to you as Angelo Peluso, creator of Nightfell — not just as part of the Grim Moon Studio team, but personally.

I want to thank you once again for your incredible support, trust, and passion for our project and for every campaign we’ve shared so far.

Unfortunately, during the final days of this crowdfunding, my father passed away. In the days that followed, I withdrew into my loss and couldn’t find the words to properly thank you sooner.

He was following the campaign as well, and this made me reflect deeply on how these projects work: even if we don’t know each other personally, your participation truly brings ideas to life.

Crowdfunding is more than funding — it’s a shared creative space, where creators and fans together shape worlds of fantasy, transform imagination into art, and give stories a shared meaning.

For this, and for the love you keep showing to Nightfell, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We’ll keep working hard — with passion and craft — to create something we can all be proud of as roleplayers, storytellers, and dreamers of dark worlds.
