A deck of lavishly illustrated, tarot-sized NPC cards for 5e, with artwork entirely by Korean artists and characters crafted by the Korean TTRPG community.
Characters walk into a tavernguild hallcastlelocation and the players ask: "who do I see?" Suddenly, every single name that anybody has ever had in history exits your mind.
"Uh there's... John, the barkeep... Jo... Josh the... adventurer... Jeremy the uhm... drunk..."
The Deck of Delvers has you covered!
The card backs have stat blocks, mini-shops, quest hooks, and much more for players to discover! Plus, each card has roleplaying bullet points to drag and drop into a game!
Whether you're running a game in the Beast World setting, or just want cool character inspirations, we think the Deck of Delvers will improve your 5e game!
Deck of Delvers: Harmony is a celebration of Korean artists and the tabletop community. Created for the Korean translation of The Delver's Guide to Beast World, now we're bringing it to English readers! The card art is created by Korean artists and features Korean-inspired characters submitted by backers of the translated Delver's Guide!
Also available for the first time, Deck of Delvers: Bestiary contains even more! Including the Harmony, Champions, and Powers decks, that's TWO HUNDRED NPC CARDS ready to be dropped into your game.
A GM screen with interchangeable panels fit for a whole mess of table needs, the Modular GM Screen features the work of Sumiaou facing the players and a variety of panels for the interior, including maps, rule references (including mobile combat from The Delver's Guide to Beast World) both in 5e and 5.5e flavors, and campaign trackers (for things such as initiative, HP values, quick name references and more)!
Organize your Deck of Delver cards with the custom, zippered binder that comes with enough pages for every single card made so far!

The Dancheong Dice are a full 7-set of dice, each with a different color base and ink from Korea's Dancheong patterning, a type of decorative coloring applied to buildings and other designs! Characterized by colorful tessellating, geometric shapes, along with depictions of flowers, cranes, dragons and lions and other animals, the artisans of Dancheong architecture are known as Dancheongjang and are considered living national treasures of South Korea.
The cards of the Harmony deck have already been translated (we had to write them in English to begin with, before handing them off to our translator for the Korean project!) and the art is finished! This project is funding the production of the decks in English, which means new boxes and cards. The Bestiary deck is in a similarly done state, and the production of samples for the modular GM screen and card binder are already underway.
We'll be working with the same reliable printing partner who has been making our books, adventures, cards, maps, GM screens, calendars and more for years. I'm also pretty sure we turned a couple of the folks over at our printer into furries and ttrpg players, oops.
Tariffs and customs remain the primary risk for our projects when it comes to shipping. We'll keep backers in the loop if anything at the border tosses a wrench into things.
As of project launch, there is some art that is currently in progress outside of the decks (hence why some of the items on this page say 'work in progress' art), including the Modular GM Screen and the Card Binder. This work should either be done or near-to-done by the time the project funding timeline finishes in July. The Paladins & Liches pack stretch goal will need to be finished if we reach it, but work on it begins the moment we hit the stretch goal. The playmat artwork is finished, and only needs to go into production!
Beyond that, we expect production to go smoothly right after the project ends before it gets sent on its way to the Heartleaf office in Buffalo! From there, we fulfill the orders ourselves by hand, stuffing everything into boxes and sending it to you! We're seasoned at fulfilment, both in our own projects and for other creators, and expect no issues on that end. Selius is a logistics pro.
Heartleaf Games is a cooperative effort between writers, designers, and artists from countries all over the world. We are Cullen, Selius, Lexi, and Lommi here in our little office in Buffalo, New York. We've been making the Beast World since 2021, and playing TRPGs for decades. We are proud to offer our work to you, and we hope to bring enough folks to our table to keep telling stories for many years.
