As stated in my previous update, yesterday (March 31st) was the deadline to submit your survey. I've started the process of locking orders which means you have 48 hours from now to make any more changes.
This is also your absolute final chance to submit your survey to make sure your order is included in my item counts. If you do not submit it within the next 48 hours, you order will not be included in my counts even if your pledge payment went through.
Pay Over Time: As stated previously, your order does not apply to this. Once you pay for your order in full, you'll receive your survey link automatically within 48 hours after your final payment. At this time, I do not require any further action from you.
This is another reminder that you have less than 1 week left to fill out your survey before I lock orders and start putting pins & other products into production.

If you don't fill your survey out by this date, your order will not be included in my item counts when I order pins and I will not be ordering more later to cover late pledges, so if you don't get your order in now, you risk getting B-grades or not getting your preferred items at all.

The Basic Witch Ita Bag will be a small cross-body style bag meant for everyday use.
This is my first ever venture in to crowdfunding a product other than enamel pins, and wow, I am so nervous about it. But also really excited!
I have a bunch of extra goodies planned for this project, including a ton of new pins, designed both by me, but also by a bunch of my friends who are guest artists for this campaign. I'm really excited to start sharing more info about them!!

I hope your last week and a half or so has gone well! I'm pleased to report that about 79% of you have submitted your surveys.
However, that does mean that a fairly large number of you (just over 50 people, not including POT backers) have not submitted your survey yet.
So this is your reminder to PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR SURVEY ASAP! This is necessary for me to get item counts so I know how many of each product I need to order.
If you don't fill out your survey, you won't get your items. It doesn't matter if your pledge went through successfully - if you don't submit your survey, you won't get your rewards. Your survey is where you fill out your shipping information so if you don't fill it out I quite literally cannot send you your package.

Pay Over Time backers
If you are a Pay Over Time backer, you will not be able to fill out your survey until AFTER you pay all your installments in full. Don't worry about meeting the above deadline - You don't need to rush to complete your payments to get your survey in by March 31st.
I have processes on my end to account for POT backers in my item counts, so please don't worry that I will miss your order if you used POT.
Stellar Nebula Sample!
To close out this update with something a little more exciting, I wanted to share with you guys the photo of the Stellar Nebula sample I received from my manufacturer!
Notable changes I want to make
The yellow strip is far too bright and saturated, more of a lemon than the subtle warm yellow I was hoping for.
The brighter of the reds in the red area is a bit too bright for my liking as well so I am hoping we can get something a little less...Ronald McDonald haha.
The outermost dark layer is also too dark, it looks black instead of deep red, and I'm going to ask them to swirl the shimmer more to get more of the wispy nebula effect I want.
However, the blue areas and the purple strip look basically perfect to me, and overall, I'm really pleased with how this pin is shaping up!

When will I get charged?
You will NOT get charged for your shipping & add-ons when you submit your survey. You will not get charged until a later date, and I will make sure to warn you all via updates when I have a set date for it.
It probably won't be until after I have the pins in-hand, so you have some time.

Pay Over Time Backers
Pay Over Time backers will not receive their survey until they have paid for their pledge in full. You will receive the survey link automatically within 48 hours once your final payment goes through.
Just a quick heads up that I've sent the smoke test round of surveys!
What is the smoke test?
The smoke test is where 5% of backers from each pledge level will receive the survey first to catch any potential issues before sending it out to everyone else. Please check your email to see if you received a survey, and if you have, please fill it out asap so I can look over things!
Historically, I've had no or very few issues with the smoke tests, so I expect these to run smoothly, and send the rest out sometime tomorrow or Sunday.
Backer Surveys
Please keep an eye on your email over the next few days for your survey link. Once you receive it, PLEASE submit yours ASAP. Surveys are REQUIRED to receive your items, as not only is this where ask which rewards you want to be sent, but I also collect your shipping address so I know where to send your package. If you don't fill out your survey, I can't send your rewards, even if you've paid in full.
When will I get charged for shipping & survey add-ons?
You will not get charged when you submit your survey.
Backers will get charged for shipping & survey add-ons at a later date, after your order has been locked in. This is a step I have to do manually, and I will notify you all multiple times beforehand.
While I don't have an exact date for when cards will be charged again, I can at least tell you that it will likely be after I have received the enamel pins and I can input the correct weights so I don't under or over charge you all for shipping fees.
Pay Over Time backers
Just a reminder that if you used Pay Over Time for your order, you will not receive your survey yet. You will not receive your survey until you have paid all 4 installments of your order in full. Once your order is paid in full, you'll receive your survey link automatically within 48 hours.
