Our Mimics come from diverse origins, from the Prime Material Plane, to the Feywild and even the Shadowfell. Each Mimic has its own unique story, having been found in the untamed wilderness, waiting for someone to provide them with a safe and caring environment.
The Baby Mimics, still in their tender stages, offer an excellent opportunity for domestication. Their young and impressionable nature allows for a smoother transition into your gaming habitat. These adorable and cuddly companions are eager to become part of your gaming family, enchanting you with their charm and loyalty.
However, we must be transparent about the Teen Mimics. While they possess immense beauty and undeniable allure, their more mature age may bring behavioral challenges. As with any creature transitioning into adulthood, Teen Mimics may display ferocious tendencies that require experienced and dedicated owners. It is strongly advised that individuals with small, cherished pets consider other adoption options.

Stretch Goals and Extras
Mimics, as everyone knows, come in all shapes and sizes. While we have been unsucessful in thus far in capturing any adult mimics (see us at Gen Con to see if we've been successful by August), we have seen a couple others in the wild.
We are highly confident that we can capture these little guys (below) without issue. They are great for teaching ill rolling dice what will happen to them if they continue to roll badly. They are slightly under 2" square. If we are able to reach our initial goal in the first 48 hours, every backer who adopts a mimic will get one for free. This will be given to all backers regardless of when they pledge, but will only be active if we raise the full $2,500 in the first 48 hours, so be sure to tell all your friends about this project as soon as possible.
Mimic dice jail.
If we reach $10,000 in this project, I'll send more rangers out to see if they can bring back a new mimic recently found in the wild (see below). These mimics look like they might enjoy spitting dice out instead of holding them safely. I'm sure any gamer can find a good use for these. If this stretch goal is unlocked, these will become available for pledges starting at a $60 adoption fee. They look to be about 5.5"x3.5"x3.5".

The original design for the small mimics was done by Vasily39, who can be found on Etsy.com. This design was altered slightly for the baby mimics and moderately for teen mimics. Vasily39 granted a commercial license with their design and Hrothgar's Hoard is pledging to further support their work at the end of the campaign.
The Mimic Adoption Program was developed by our head of marketing, Marcus. Evaluations came from many people who participated in the adoption program over the summer. Here are some pictures of happy adoptive parents.

Shipping fees will be assessed at the end of the project through Backerkit's survey system. In general, for shipping in the USA, figure $10 for the first 2-3 items of baby mimic size or smaller. Teen mimics will probably be closer to $20 due to its size. Insurance can be purchased as well if you'd like. I'll have all that put together for the survey section of the project. I don't believe in over charging for shipping, but do want to make sure that costs are covered.
