Hello everyone! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! I hope you are all staying safe, warm, and having a great time as we start off 2026~ 😊🙏🏼

I wanted to share an update on where things are at and why there has been a slight delay in surveys going out. I also have pics of the new and highly anticipated Orchid Mantis, Madagascan Sunset Moth, and Scarlet-Bodied Wasp Moth designs! Let's start the update~

At the moment, I am waiting on the Backerkit Team to return from their Winter Holiday Break so they can approve my surveys and release them to you all 😊 The team has been out of office since Christmas Eve and will be returning on January 5th. As soon as they are back and approvals are completed, surveys will be sent out ASAP so I can get the final counts over to my manufacturer to start production ^_^

Long story short, the delay came from running Pin Quest, Pinned & Preserved, and Pintober campaigns back-to-back with very little downtime in between campaigns. On top of overlapping campaigns, I was also dealing with several unexpected family emergencies that made it difficult to keep everything moving on the original timeline I had planned.

➡️ Back to back campaigns:
While running Pin Quest, an artist a part of the upcoming League of Science pin event asked me to join and asked if I could do more insect pins like in my Rebirth & Ruin campaign. I happily agreed and was honored to be invited to the group and started working on some new designs. However, I didn't fully anticipate how tight the schedule would be in between setting up & running multiple back-to-back campaigns, cleaning up lineart, and preparing artwork for the next event. I originally planned to have more time between Pin Quest and Pintober to clean up/vectorize the artwork, but with the added insect pin campaign I had to put a pause on cleaning up the designs in order to run the events on time.

➡️ Family emergencies:
During the middle of running Pinned & Preserved, my mom was hospitalized due to a severe spider bite infection that required multiple surgeries to clear out of her system. Thankfully she made a full recovery 🥹🙏🏼 Shortly after this, there was a cancer scare that required more testing back at the hospital, but thankfully that all came back negative. After this happened, my closest grandma passed away which was a very difficult loss to deal with on top of everything.

Once things settled down, I jumped immediately back into my work cleaning up the Pin Quest lineart for my manufacturer. I also finished the last insect pin designs for the survey, and started preparing for Pintober. Balancing campaign work in between these 2 family emergencies caused some delays getting the surveys out, and for that I am truly sorry. I'm doing everything in my power to get everything rolling out, and I'm really excited to announce all the new things happening~

💪🏼 The great news is that I am finally at the point where art/surveys have been finished and production is ready to start on these pins as soon as all survey counts are finalized! 🙏🏼 This part is easy because I just count everything up, send it over to my manufacturer and just wait for them to be made~

All while these life events were happening, I was still hard at work in the background finishing up these last few pins for you all 💖 The Orchid Mantis and the Madagascan Sunset Moth will be available to unlock in the survey at the same discounted campaign pricing <3

Some other great news is that the Pin Quest pins are almost here and they look amazing!! Take a look at these beauties 😻🥰

Now that these Pin Quest pins are almost here, I am clearing out my schedule for the rest of this month so I can focus fully on finalizing pin production and fulfilling Pin Quest orders! ^_^
