Project Update: The first check in
As I mentioned originally, I'm aiming to keep these updates monthly unless something significant comes up. We're coming up on a month out from Last Light Station funding. I've been wrapping up the last of the writing after a couple of fun playtests. I'll be doing two more next week before getting the manuscript over to Christian for editing!
I've also been plugging away at the NPC artwork. A few of these pieces are editing from Bloodstained Snow's cover assets, while most are public domain art I've edited. Keep in mind, none of these should be considered "final," but I wanted to share the WIP pieces:
I'll check back in next month, but the TL;DR for this one is "we are on track and moving along." Until next time!
Kindly,
Joshua
Project Update: Funded!
Let’s talk briefly about the timeline. Writing, editing and layout will take place over the next few months. Then, in June you’ll have the pre-print PDF version of the zine! I’ll allow some time for folks to report errors and to finesse any layout details before going to print sometime in July or August. That puts us on track to fulfill in September!
Now, I’m giving myself a super generous timeline to allow for any snags in development, but at the moment, I don’t foresee anything delaying progress and hope to have things out sooner. I’ll keep y’all updated monthly here letting you know how things are moving along, and sharing WIP pieces from the module. For now though, I’m gonna take a deep breath, spend a couple of days on the coast, and let myself appreciate the support you all have shown.
Thank you again, truly.

Project Update: Next stretch goal unlocked!
What’s the last stretch goal? Well, if we manage to hit $9k: RADIO LAST LIGHT comes to life! I’ll flesh out the in-universe radio station with an expanded digital release, audio broadcasts and a custom mix. It may seem far away, but you’ve all continued to amaze me with the level of support, so why not aim big? I’ll check in when the campaign ends in about 17 hours and see where we’ve landed.
Until then,
Joshua
A rather banal query given the quality of this work but, having pledged for the colour version, I looked up what a riso print is. Every day is a school day. It says that this form of printing can smudge, being all arty ‘n all. Should I be concerned about sweaty fingers spoiling the finish?
Project Update: Last Chance for the Cross-Collab!
Back Cain Sun while you can!
Signing off,
Joshua
