This campaign is still in production so you've not been charged yet (if it reads weird below its because I copy pasted it to keep the information consistent). We're expecting the pins to come in soon, we hit some delays due to being sanctioned by a major shipping company... So that's fun.
EU Backers
This one's the kicker, and there's just nothing I can do about it.
As of July 1st, a new rule went into a place that introduced a flat handling fee of £3 per item type included in any package heading into the EU. This is standard across all the EU countries as far as we can tell. We are not sure if that includes free items at the moment, we're still trying to figure out the details. So every EU order will now owe an extra charge of £3 per item type included.
On top of that, some EU countries are now requiring us to pay customs/import fees up front (so at point of sale). We no longer have the option of shipping 'recipient pays fees'. We aren't entirely sure which countries yet; we're still investigating. So from now on shipping is going to have to include the appropriate customs fees for EU countries upfront.
We're currently working with Backerkit to figure out to integrate these fees into shipping costs, but please be warned that your shipping totals will increase before we do charge cards. Once its been implemented (it hasn't yet) you should be able to see them on your survey. You can still go and edit your add-on choices right up until you've been charged.

I like to make a monthly update but there's not much to say on this one right now - everything's underway in the background and there won't be any updates for a while. Its busy season so production this time of year takes some time.
Coconut octopus did fund, the two alt flamboyant cuttlefish didn't - I'll probably pick the cuttlefish with most backers and fund it myself, and cancel the other.
Now its just a waiting game, so I'll keep you posted :).
Upside of the delay is that we got some of the test products back already, so there are some pictures attached to the add-on store.
If you could fill them out at your earliest convenience that helps me out with knowing how many of each pin to order. Cards won't be charged until everything is produced and we're ready to start shipping, so bear in mind that postage and fees can change between now and then.
After that you won't hear much from me for a while, we'll be waiting for production for a bit since its busy season for manufacturers at the moment.
Behold. This design was a monster to finish, sorry it took so long. This guy is going to be a standard (2") size with gold plating and a looot of screen print.
And because I had to be extra with it;
Two alternative colourways will be in the add-on store, as post campaign stretch goals. I found references for all three colour schemes and I love them all but I can't fund them myself this time.
Speaking of post campaign stretch goals, we also have the coconut octopus;
This is just a sketch for now, I'll finish him if enough people buy one to fund. This is a mini pin, 1.5" with gold plating. If he funds the person who suggested it gets a feather ~.
Surveys are nearly done, just uploading all the pictures and deciding which designs to put on which stationery. My Flamboyant took about 10x longer than I thought he would to finish, but we're getting there.
Back from my trip and work is done on the blue ring! I did have to overhaul the design, but here we go;
This is a mini size design, at 1.5". It'll be in a silver metal finish, with screen printed details.
All that's left is the flamboyant cuttlefish.
I am working on the surveys, I have designed a few things especially for the add on store. We have some post campaign stretch goals - pin designs that will only be made if they sell enough units in the shop. These will just be WIP sketches, until (if) we sell enough units. Including right now the coconut octopus in a coconut house, but he needs a colour tweak before I post it.
We also have some things like pencil cases and sticker/note books and stuff;
All of these I can order in small enough quantities to have them available off the bat, I'm just figuring out which designs to offer. And uh, I'll be fixing that obvious layering issue I just noticed.
