Project Update: IT'S FULFILLMENT TIME, OH BOY! How we're handling it + what to expect

Good evening, criminals!

So, I hope I don't jinx it, but, considering there's no con crud from AC, I'll call it a success. Thanks, you fuckers, you paid for my car insurance and covered half my credit card.

As the last update says...

Everything is here, both stickers and pins, and that means it's time to start fulfillment for CRITTER CRIMES.

My process for project fulfillment usually goes a certain way, but due to fun timing this time around, we're doing something different. Here's my rough plan:

  • Starting this weekend, packing slips will be printed, final emergency address changes will be made (IS THIS YOU? GO EMAIL ME! [email protected], DO IT COWARD), and domestic + international orders will be sorted.
  • Sticker orders and freebie sticker sheets will be sorted onto packing slips, likely this Sunday or Monday.
  • The real fun begins: pin grading. This will happen intermittently. All pins are in, so it's time to get everything checked, backing carded, wrapped, and ready. B-grade pins will be counted and set aside for later sale, as well as a giveaway.
  • CUSTOM CRIMES slots will be addressed amid this, office sorting, and my other two jobs. We're expecting to jump back in the saddle for these by next week, things have been hectic but you guys need your mugshots. I will be going thru the queue in response order. Keep an eye out for emails about this, mostly in EST evenings after I slam a bunch of coffee after work and need something to do.
  • Orders containing custom pin tiers will go out first: you're special, congratulations! Man, I wish someone told me I was special :( Maybe then I'd be nicer on the internet. Oh well, too late.
  • After everything else is set, standard fulfillment will begin. We are expecting a late August to early September finish. I am giving myself a generous deadline due to [waves arms at every single complication on BIRD CRIMES and GOLDEN AGE PARROTS].
  • Remainder pins, stickers, and B-grades will be listed on KEN'S PIN HUSTLE for retail purchase. Here's your reminder for the future, all of my campaigns have pins at $1-2 cheaper than their website price. If you like what you see, get 'em during crowdfunding!

Tonight, I'm getting packing slips set, and starting sticker assignments. This is great, because it gives me an incentive to take all the shit from Anthrocon out of my truck and stop being a lazy piece of shit.

I don't know if I can call it a "break," but, I'm not actively cooking anything new as I finish up CRITTER CRIMES.

I'd like to run a final pin project this year, while I chip away at sampling some plush. Tariffs are making things kind of unpredictable, both on the manufacturing side and on the buyer demand end. Right now, I'm thinking of treating myself to a project of smaller (1 or 1.5") pins that are easier to grade, buy, and easier on backer wallets.

We'll see what happens. I have a lot of work to do. After Anthrocon, I'm thinking "KEEPER CRIMES" might be our next big one, featuring zoo and wildlife rehab animals known for making already-underpaid staff's lives harder. We'd start with a child endangerment otter, a biological terrorism snow leopard, and an attempted murder kangaroo... how do we feel about that?

(if you're a zookeeper, please leave your worst critters in the comments actually)

With Final Fantasy IX's 25th coming up, I'm thinking I might want to finally dip my toes into that. How do my furries feel about some teeny little Freya pins? Maybe a Beatrix for the lesbians who talk to me about Dungeon Meshi? Do you like both of those things, is there an overlap? Wanna make them kiss, and make me look at it on your itabag while I'm trying to pick my dog's meds up at Costco?

Contact me RIGHT FUCKING NOW if your address on file is not up-to-date, or you have a shop order you want included with your CC order. You know the one. [email protected].

All the GOLDEN AGE PARROTS shit is up on the HUSTLE.
Go look at it. Go buy it and tell me to stick it in your pledge shipment.

Ok freaks, see you tomorrow. I have to go write fifty emails to furries.
