The smoke test is 88% complete with no apparent issues, so surveys have been sent to all backers! Check your email for a link.

As a reminder, the survey is mandatory to receive your rewards. it allows me to collect item counts for manufacturing, but also addresses and shipping fees. If I don't have your address, there's no way for me to send you your pins.

When are Surveys Due?
I will leave surveys open until the first week of April. I am tentatively placing the survey closing date at APRIL 7. That's 3 weeks to fill out surveys. If you do not fill out your survey by the time orders lock, I may not be able to guarantee you'll receive your first choice of rewards. 

If your survey goes unanswered by the time fulfillment is complete, your pledge will be considered a donation and it will not be refunded.

What about Pay Over Time Backers?
Pay Over Time backers will receive their surveys when their payment is completed (4 installments total). I will be keeping these folks in mind as I finalize item counts.

Can I switch my Pledge Tier After I get my Survey?
Yes, you can! Most pledge tiers are enabled for switching. If you'd like to easily upgrade your pledge, click the "Switch your Pledge Level" link under the big green Get Started button when you first open your survey.

Please note, you are not able to switch your pledge tier back if you change your mind!

How is Shipping Calculated?
As outlined before, shipping is not only based on location, but the total weight of your cart. A US backer pledging for the highest tier should expect about $10 in shipping. A US backer pledging for a single pin will see a shipping fee around $6.

Furthermore, if you add multiple add-on pins to your cart, expect your shipping fee to go up incrementally. The heaviest items are the dangling pins and the Six-Legged Stag pin.

When will I be Charged?
When you complete your survey, you will not immediately be charged for shipping & any extra add-ons. Cards will be charged at a later date, which I will post here via updates. I will wait until closer to fulfillment to charge cards—most likely after I have the pins.

Surveys have been approved by BackerKit and smoke test surveys are out! The smoke test sends surveys to 5% of each reward tier, to ensure they're working smoothly with no issues.

If you receive a survey, please fill it out ASAP. As soon as the smoke test surveys are mostly completed with no issues, I can send the remaining surveys.

Shipping: Keep in mind, shipping is calculated not only by location, but by weight too. The more pins you get, the higher your shipping will be! For example, in the USA, the highest tier pledges will see about $10 shipping, while 1 pin pledges will see $6 or less. Lots of add-ons will increase shipping.

Finally, here are all the vector versions of the pins, as promised. Sugar Bowl, Crystal Ball, Planchette, copper Teacup, and Teapot were already vectors before campaign launch, so there will be no difference. However, for the rest, there's very little in the way of changes. Vector versions have cleaner lines/curves, are properly symmetrical where necessary, and in general, are less messy. Though I'm a bit of a perfectionist so "messy" may mean very little. 😆

Hi Backers! Just a quick update today on the status of the survey and a last call for failed pledges.

Surveys are mostly set up, but I am still in the process of vectoring all of the pin artwork. This is going smoothly, just a bit time-consuming! While any changes to the artwork when vectoring are minor, I'd still like to share the final artwork here and use these vectors in the survey for the most accurate representation of the pins.

I'm estimating these will be completed next week, then a few more days for survey completion. So we're still on track for the survey being sent out mid-March! But possibly even a little sooner. :)

 

Today is the 14th day since campaign end, and I believe it's the last day to update your payment information if you have a failed pledge. There are still 30 failed pledges left. Please double-check your information/pledge if you're not sure if this applies to you! 

However, BackerKit will still send a survey to backers with failed pledges. When you get your survey, you’ll have another opportunity to update your payment and complete your pledge. 

And a quick reminder that the pre-order store is open for folks that missed the campaign! If you already backed the campaign, don't use the pre-order store—more add-ons can be added to your pledge when the survey comes.

We did it! That's another Pintopia wrapped up, and I'm so happy and grateful for this project's success and it's all thanks to you. 

We also hit our last $33,333 stretch goal—meaning the eye filler pins will be available as add-ons, and an eye will be gifted to all backers with a pledge totaling $45 or more! 👁️

Backerkit has begun processing payments and the credit card you have on file for BackerKit pledges will automatically be charged.

If your payment has failed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to fix your payment information. You have 14 days to correct your payment information! During that 14 day window, Backerkit will will retry your card automatically. There are quite a few failed pledges already, so if that applies to you, please fix your payment information sooner rather than later! 

However, if you are unable to fix the issue in time, your pledge information will still be imported. You will have an opportunity to fix your payment again and go through with your pledge when surveys are sent out.

The pre-order store is open! If you missed the campaign or know someone who missed the campaign, head on over to the pre-order store to grab some spooky pins. The pre-order store does not include any campaign freebies/incentives, nor the small 2025 Moon Hollow pins, which are out of stock. 

Reminder: if you are a backer, do not use the pre-order store! You will be charged for shipping twice if you do. The pre-order store is for those who missed the campaign.

I've already begun setting up the backer survey, so expect that sometime in March. As a reminder, the survey is mandatory to receive your rewards. The survey is where you will select your pin designs, confirm your shipping address and pay your shipping fee. This is also an opportunity to pick up more add-ons (like the eye filler pins) if you're so inclined.

A quick update to start our final campaign countdown and show off the finalized art print artwork for both the Salesman and Miss Foxglove! Miss Foxglove looks so cute, and the Salesman got some tweaks to match her a little better. Both designs are available as add-ons.

We're a little under $800 away from our last stretch goal: little eye filler pins. I think we might be able to hit this one before time runs out! And remember, if these are unlocked, everyone who pledges $45 or more gets an eye filler pin for free!

As we wind down, I'll begin turning my attention to vectoring any designs that aren't yet a vector, and getting the survey and pre-order store set up. Expect an celebration update after the campaign ends, and later, an update showcasing all final vector artwork before it's sent to manufacturers. 🪄

Your shipping fees and your pin design selections will be made after the campaign, in your BackerKit survey. Most folks probably know, but the survey is mandatory in order to receive your rewards. The plan is to send these sometime mid-March, but you'll be notified via updates if anything changes.

Backers who are using the "Pay Over Time" feature will not receive their surveys until the pledge is paid in full. Don't worry, I will keep you folks in mind in my item counts!
