Hello everyone! I just wanted to give you an update on the progress for Beyond the Lighthouse, since it's been a little while! Writing and edits continue in full swing, and the Ravanseil section is 50% edited at this point. We're also currently compiling all of the artwork and spot images that will be going into that section of the book, and we cannot wait to share sneak previews of Ennio's layout work with you all!

Speaking of sneak previews, the map of Niojike is officially completed! Fernando did incredible work, as always. The topography and scientific nature of Niojike is a fascinating one; the aerial waterfall caused by the splitting of the Vastchasm far to the north, combined with the mountains tearing up from below, sundered the land in two in 0CE. What remained of the country was forced to rebuild, complete with the strange new phenomena that never existed in the land prior to the Great Cataclysm.

I'll be sharing further updates as we hit major milestones in the project! With so many cogs keeping this machine running, it may take a little longer than originally anticipated to get into your hands, but I will share more updates on the timeline with you all as soon as I can.

Hello everyone, thank you once more for backing this project. It wouldn't be possible without your support!

I just wanted to give you all a quick post-holidays update that the BackerKit surveys are finished and just awaiting approval before we send out our smoke test, which goes out to 5% of backers. Once those go through and everything looks good, then surveys will go out to all backers! So expect those emails from BackerKit sometime by the end of this week or early next week.

Progress is being made on the book, with more modules and lore pages getting finished. We're nearly finished with all of the faction pages, which we'll then be sending off to our layout designer, Ennio! I'm very excited to show off some more pages for you all. 💕

Coming up next for La Lionne Publishing is a new BackerKit project: volume 2 of my one-page TTRPGs! I'll be doing a mini crowdfunding campaign for this project for Zinetopia, and I'm cross-collaborating with my friends at TTRPGkids, too! You can follow the project here and keep an eye out for it when it goes live in February. Also, if you back both projects, I'll be happy to combine shipping costs so you don't pay shipping twice, and everything will go out in one package at the same time. :)

Hello, everyone!

First and foremost, thank you for being a part of Beyond the Lighthouse. Your enthusiasm and support for this project continue to light our way (pun fully intended). It’s been a busy and productive month since the campaign wrapped, and we’re excited to share how things are shaping up.

Work on the book is moving steadily, and the team has been deep in development and refinement. The material is coming together beautifully, full of new tools, lore, and play options that we can’t wait for you to explore. The new factions and abilities are nearly complete, with Blanka taking the lead on that area to ensure that every last specialty and ability feels unique, and we avoid overlapping themes and moves between character archetypes.

We’re also working behind the scenes to get the Pledge Manager ready for launch. It will go live within the next month or so. Since fulfillment is still a ways off, we’re taking a bit of extra time to make sure everything is smooth, clear, and easy for you to navigate when it opens. As always, we’ll update you the moment it goes live.

You may have noticed that project lead Anya (hi, it's me) has been a bit quieter than usual. Over the past few weeks, I've been dealing with a combination of travel and some unexpected health issues, which slowed down my ability to post updates and respond as quickly as I normally do. The good news is that I'm (hopefully) on the mend and back to focusing on the project. Thank you to everyone for your patience!
