Hello friends! We’re officially one week from launch, and I’m so excited to share this one-page TTRPG bundle with y'all.
The bundle includes six all-new one-page TTRPGs, presented in a beautiful folder for safe-keeping. Not only that, but you can even help inspire some of the games! I'll be putting out some polls during the BackerKit campaign to gauge what people are interested in me writing, and you can also leave comments with ideas for as-yet-unwritten concepts you've been dying to play or want to see my creative spin on. I get inspiration from the strangest things, so you can share a moodboard, some poetry, or even a string of emojis, and I very well may turn them into games! 😉
This project is really coming together now, with three games already fully written and layout completed, and I have four more in varying states of completion. (Don't worry—the math maths, I promise! With all the bonus games and stretch goals involved, I'm writing ten new one-pagers for this campaign! 🫨)
These games span a wide range of vibes and mechanics, from dice to cards to even pulling books from your own shelves to divine your future. Whether you’re rivals secretly falling in love or cryptids trying to survive a normal workday, there’s something here for you.
If you’re new to one-page TTRPGs, they’re rules-light, zero- or minimal-prep games that are perfect for parties, last-minute hangouts, and times when you just want to play a quick game. One-page games are so much fun because the pared-down mechanics and prompts really put the roleplay aspect of TTRPGs into the forefront of your games and force you to think outside the box. They can also be anywhere from solo player to 8-10 players, depending on the game!
Just to give you a little peek behind the curtain, the game I'm working on right now is a one-page solo journaling game that I've named The Cassandra Protocol. It uses the Second Guess System SRD by Gamenomicon, which in turn was inspired by Wretched & Alone (my beloved)! In this game, you’re the only one aboard a spaceship who knows the ship and all its crew are doomed (Cassandra-style, and tragically unbelieved). You document your time aboard the ship, trying to get anyone to help you stop what is to come...or at the very least, believe you. I saw this SRD on itch the other day and just had to write something using it, so I hope you'll love it as much as I do! 🥰
One last bit of news: I’ve also been announced as a stretch goal writer for TTRPGkids’ BackerKit project, Mystery Snacks, so if you want even more writing from me, definitely check that out too! (Not to mention the fact that if you back both our projects, you'll be getting a bonus one-page TTRPG from each of us because we're cross-collab partners! 😲)
Thank you again for all the excitement and support. One week to go til launch day!
