Happy timezone everyone! Exciting update: our first stretch goal has been unlocked. This means even more queer pirate art from our illustrious illustrator, FaelDraws! She's been sending me some sketch ideas, and I am beyond excited for them to be fully fleshed out now. I'm so thrilled to share this news with y'all on my birthday. What a fantastic birthday present! :D

Our next stretch goal is €2000, where I will create six prebuilt characters that you can either use as NPCs or as PCs of your own while playing the game. There will be one character for each of the Backgrounds and Magical Foci to showcase the variety of characters you can play.

Let's keep the momentum going and smash through those stretch goals!

I also want to take the time to share another pirate TTRPG with you all that is crowdfunding right now over on Kickstarter: Tales from the Spectral Sea by Sam Armstrong! In this game, you are the crew of a pirate ship who have died at sea and need to find resolution and come to terms with your life so that you can move on to the afterlife. It is a story-driven style of game, and I am so excited to get my copy! If that sounds interesting to you, be sure to back the project in the next 6 days!

Hello friends, I'm so excited about the interest in Sail the Oceans Queer! We are €148 away from funding the game as of this moment. I know without a doubt that we'll be able to hit that goal, and hopefully some of the stretch goals as well, long before the end of this crowdfunding campaign!

I want to highlight a couple of things that I wasn't able to do yesterday since I was over the Atlantic Ocean during the start of the campaign. 😅 The character sheets for Sail the Oceans Queer have been designed by the incredible artist Alderdoodle, and I am so thrilled to have these for the game!! Ramona took my very simple original layout and turned it into a true work of art.

All physical orders of Sail the Oceans Queer will come with four copies of the full-color character sheet, as well as them being available in the back of the book. The character sheets will also be available for digital download, including a printer-friendly version, after the crowdfunding campaign is over.

Additionally, I realized that I was remiss in adding my Major Arcana solo journaling game, The Siren's Calling, as an add-on to the campaign. It is there now! In this game, you play a mermaid leaving your home reef for the first time. As you pull cards, you learn more about yourself, your dreams, and your aspirations, before your thoughts turn toward home.

That is everything from me for now. Fael is hard at work finalizing the stickers for the campaign, and I'm very much looking forward to revealing those finished designs to you all.

Exciting news — not only did we reach our funding goal yesterday, but as of right now, we’re roughly €100 away from hitting the first stretch goal and getting some very very lovely additional artwork added to the game book (including a delightful sapphic enemies to lovers sketch that I would LOVE to see fully drawn. 😍)
