Thank you for making our project a reality! Apologies for the delay in getting this message out to you all, April has been just a whirlwind of activity with three conventions in three different countries! 

A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.

Here's a quick rundown:

✅ Backerkit has transferred over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards. Some of the add-ons have already been purchased, including the fortune/calamity coins for those who backed both Sail the Oceans Queer and our cross-collab partner, Duat!

Check out the mock-up our manu sent to me recently, below. Did I purposely include a pun in the Latin translation of the coins? Nope. Is it perfect? Absolutely yes. For Tuna!

🔲 Second, Fael and I are hard at work completing the book for Sail the Oceans Queer, and I'm really excited about all of the sketches she's been sending me. 🥰 More stretch goals unlocked means that we also have additional pages to add to the book, which extends the completion time. With nearly half of my conventions for the year behind me, I'll have more time to tackle the copy for those pages. 💪

🔲 Third, I'm going through step by step to complete the Pledge Manager so that I can send surveys your way! If you haven't run a crowdfunding campaign before, this is A Proccess that takes quite a bit of time. I've already done pledge management through BackerKit before when I did The Apothecaire's Apprentice, so I already know a lot of the steps I need to complete and I'll be finished with it soon!

We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it, but it shouldn't be any more than a week from now before we send those out. 

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.     

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)

Answering your survey helps us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your crowdfunding account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.
