Project Update: Happy Pride! 🌈 Big Updates for Sail the Oceans Queer + CRIT Award Nominations!

✨🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈✨

This community is a beautiful source of creativity, joy, and love, and I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you. Whether you're marching in parades, rolling dice with your crew, or just getting through the day with metaphorical glitter in your heart, know that you make this space magical. 💖

Sail the Oceans Queer progress update

Things are sailing ahead beautifully! The artwork is nearly finished, and let me tell you, it looks stunning. From heroic queer pirates to mythical sea creatures (and mundane seaside creatures. Here’s looking at you, Jerry) and action-packed scenes, each piece is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for this game’s updated design! Check out one of said gorgeous pieces of art below!

Four pirates mid-combat showing off magical abilities, swashbuckling, and aiding an ally.
Speaking of, the updated text is currently in the editing stage. I’m polishing every paragraph, and we're so close to port now. I can’t wait for you to hold this loot in your hands!

🏆 I’ve been nominated for TWO CRIT Awards!

Some absolutely exciting news: I’ve been nominated for not one, but TWO CRIT Awards! 🎉

I’m beyond honored, and so proud to see indie TTRPGs and queer creators getting love like this. 💖Check out the full list of nominees here and vote for all these amazing people here! (I also highly recommend voting for Michelle for best Darrington Press player—she’s up for her role in my Candela miniseries, The Circle of Glass and Vapour! 😉)

🌿 Only a Few Days Left to Back Encounters at a Glance – Into the Wild!

I’m one of the writers for Encounters at a Glance: Into the Wild, a super cool Kickstarter campaign full of dynamic, flexible encounter prompts to spice up your games.

There are just a couple of days left to back it! 👉 Click here to check it out and support my work! Backing through this link also helps me directly as a contributor. 💖

🏙️ See You at Dokomi This Weekend!

If you’re headed to Dokomi in Düsseldorf, come say hi! I’ll be in Hall 3 at Booth 3F48, right across from the Book Nook stage.

Thank you, always, for being part of this wild, wonderful, queer adventure. Here’s to games that celebrate who we are and the worlds we imagine together. 🧜‍♀️⚔️🌈

With love,

Anya
