SURVEYS ARE OUT, PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR SURVEY IF YOU RECEIVED IT!!!
It will be different for folks doing pay in 4 if I am remembering correctly, and if you ordered on the preorder store you will not need to fill one of these out at all! But for the rest of you, surveys went out.
As a reminder, manufacturing is delayed due to the high percentage of pay-in-4 backers. I'm still waiting to receive about 14k. So we're still mostly just waiting for time to pass. I will be getting stickers printed in not too much time, but I am still holding back on the name tags. With the tariff stuff getting ready to expire and that being an unfamiliar product that I haven't produced before I'm going to wait for the dust to settle at least a little.
And now for what you're probably here for! PHOTOS!
I recently received a box that somehow managed to contain both Moose and Skye's finalized prototypes! I wish I had thought to take a photo before I opened it, once the pressure was alleviated by the box cutter they just kinda POPPED out. Skye has had minor color corrections + a mane fur update, and he's softer than ever now. Moose is something to behold in person! His teeth turned out embroidery, not applique, which is the only huge difference from the sheet. But compromises have to be made sometimes for production!
I would have posted photos sooner, but it was either world endingly hot (for this part of the midwest) or nothing but dangerous storms (THEY KILLED MY FAVORITE TREE I AM SO UPSET,) then once the temps got tolerable the air quality plummeted from wildfire smoke, so my asthmatic butt didn't get to go outside until today.
The one with him turned on his side shows his shape well, with the slight hump and the rounded belly. Seriously, he is a chunker! Moose has smaller paws and ears than the werewolves, and the lack of faux fur makes him look not as bulky even at the same length, but he has them beat on tummy. Here they are set on the same surface side by side and another of them together
I haven't forgotten Skye! Here's some nice shots, the faux fur on the neck is so much softer than the old peachy fur and I am very excited for that even if it is slightly shorter.
Other than this, there isn't really much to share at the moment! If you would like to see Moose and Skye in person, or you missed seeing Garth and Udon at Anthrocon, the prototypes are coming with us to Megaplex at the end of the month. Carrion Baggage is about to start fulfillment so between that and this project being in a bit of a lull waiting for funds to come in I'm doing what I can to prepare for future projects:
Deadweights
Our very next project is Deadweights, a creepy-cute set of weighted, teddy style critters! I'm working hard to get them developed to perfection right now. They are challenging designs, so far only 2 are close to done, but we've got until December! I hope to launch with all of them in their finalized form.
Carrion Baggage will be returning for Pintopia 2026! There will be 15 pin sets and 3 bags as part of this campaign, and all that art is still getting finalized but I'm still super excited for it! I don't really do a lot of enamel pins, so it is fun to work on.
There's no set date for this campaign yet, and it could be a long ways off. It depends on a lot of things. But I get asked for SO MANY different kobold color combos and themes. So I'm slowly working on make more of those a reality. If you're interested, you can check it out over here so you know when info comes out.
