Whether you just moved into Springwell or have been here since it's founding days (yeah, I'm looking at you founding families), I hope you're enjoying your stay in this small, cozy, and slightly quirky town.

I have some fun news, some practical news, and a little sneak peek at the end for residents and visitors to Springwell (Backers).
First of all we unlocked more achievements!

We broke the $7000 barrier! And we're 93% into unlocking the next stretch goal.
Not only do you get an achievement for this last one, but, if you're on my socials or in my Discord server, I promised an art reveal. Which you got on Instagram and Discord. But if you're in neither spot. Here ya go! Beautiful art by M.ieoi.

I basically wanted a kissy commission of these two lovely ladies. As Mieoi was working on the piece I stumbled on some images of traditional Indonesian wedding dresses. And I knew I wanted Safi to wear one.
And while this isn’t a representation of the story, it’s a very sweet moment. 

Holy shit! You helped The Wishing Well become a reality in under 9 hours!
Not only that, you got The Wishing Well trending on Backerkit's website.
I feel like you've earned this achievement.

Speaking of which, would you like to have some achievements and earn even more digital goodies or printed ones for the ones getting books shipped?

This means the limited edition hardcover is really happening.
I'm so excited about this because it's going to be so gorgeous.
Not only that, it seems quite a few of you were really eager to move into Springwell with the both the Founding Family and Mayor tier selling out within the first 24 hrs. Which, personally, I think is a great choice.

The town sits cradled at the foot of Copperpine Ridge with its snowy peaks feeding meltwater into Marigold lake. And yeah, maybe it's haunted and a little magical, comes with a cat that has suspiciously good timing, and may or may not encourage lesbians to go skinny-dipping in the creeks. But the community is lovely. Aside from Michaela, but you'll meet her later.

A huge thank you to every single one of you who backed, shared, commented, or just cheered us on whilst in lurker mode. All of you made this happen.

And now, the real fun begins (in my humble opinion).
We get to start unlocking all the stretch goals, with three of them already unlocked!

I would of course really love to see the other stretch goals unlock because the more Snafi, the merrier!
We got the whole of September to get these unlocked. We already made TWW hardcover a reality.
Now let's see what else we can make together. 💛

Killerlaurent sent me the finished cover for book 1!

When I tell you I squealed and gasped, I'm not even exaggerating.
This cover is so beautiful and gorgeous and really captures the magical cozy feel of the story.
Killer has designed a wrap around cover for the omnibus and is currently working on the design for the printed edges. after that he'll get to designing the cover for book 2 which will be printed inside the omnibus.

These covers will never be available on amazon or any other platform other than in this Backerkit project or on my website.

On another fun note, I decided to commission some art by Qwilann but unlike my other art I won't reveal it. Instead for anyone who pledges to The Transplant or above will receive a digital file or an envelope that isn't to be opened until you've finished the omnibus. For the digital file there'll be a password to input. For the physical prints, I'll trust that you don't want to ruin the experience of reading the story without knowing how it ends.

That's all I had for now. Once Killerlaurent has finished all the designs for the rest of the omnibus, I'll be able to show you a mockup of it.

Alright, so despite the really unfortunate news that I can't ship into EU, I've decided to go ahead with the Special Edition Hardcover Omnibus.

If anyone follows me on Instagram, you may have seen that I'll be an attending author at Readers & Rebels Book Event next year in Wales. So, if anyone I can't ship to wants to detour... 😉

Now, it's only 16 days until the campaign launches and I've gotten many questions about what tiers will be available. Well, not one to keep you in suspense (and also help you set some money aside in case you want to pledge) let me show you!

Keep in mind, if you pledge within the first 48 hrs you can nab the Hardcover Omnibus for only $55. First 100, only. If you're in one of the countries I can't ship to, there's a digital version for Early Bird as well. For $20. First 50 backers, only.

I hope I've managed to have enough pledges for everyone's budget. 
Even if you're not in a country I can ship to, you can always support Safi and Nai by pledging to the digital rewards. 

This campaign is not available in Russia or Israel.

I hope you're all doing well and having a fantastic weekend.

I have some really disappointing news about the special edition. 

⚠️  Because of new EU packaging and waste regulations, I’m no longer able to ship physical rewards to countries within the EU or to Norway.

I’m genuinely gutted about this. I’ve put so much effort, and time into planning the physical edition, and I wanted it to be available to as many of you as possible. But complying with the different requirements would come with costs and financial risks that I simply can’t take on as a small indie author.

So, for now, all EU countries and Norway are off the table for physical rewards. (Sweden is exempt from this.)

I hate it. You hate it. Let's just all take a moment to hate this properly together for a minute. 😭

However, I can still ship the physical special edition to countries outside the EU and Norway.  Eg: The US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc

BUT before I commit to getting it printed, I need some idea of how many people would actually want one, because if there aren’t enough of us, the numbers may no longer make sense.

This isn’t a commitment to buy anything! I’m only trying to get a realistic sense of where everyone is and whether there’s still enough interest to move ahead with printing.

And, because I need to end this announcement with at least one piece of good news:
digital rewards will still be available worldwide.
No matter where you live, you’ll still be able to join the campaign and get the books, artwork, Springwell extras, and other digital goodies.
