Tariffs

• Backers of this campaign will not see a price increase for their pledged goods from me due to tariffs. My pin manufacturer was able to get my order to me before the worst of the Tariffs went into effect, which was critical for me to be able to fulfill this campaign. I am facing increased costs for some of the add-on items, but this campaign was successful enough that I should be able to cover the tariffs on those.

• International Backers - Some countries have enacted tariffs on goods imported from the United States in retaliation to the trade wars initiated by its current administration.  All of the rewards from this campaign will be shipped from the US, so please refer to your country's current information to know if you'll need to pay tariffs on your rewards. Tariff situations are constantly changing right now and we don't know what they'll look like in a few months. When it comes time to ship rewards, I will be willing to delay shipping international packages up to 6 months by request.

• I will be reevaluating a few things moving forward to continue making enamel pins as feasibly as I can. This will include a price increase for post-campaign items (I'll try to minimalize it) and an increase in funding goals for future campaigns. Please be patient with artist during this time - most of us will have to increase our prices, since even most domestically made goods rely on a global supply chain for materials.

Updates on Other Projects

POSTPONED - Pin the Date: Enamel Pin Advent Calendars
Many of you were following along for this enamel pin/sticker advent calendar project! I put a lot of time into thinking out logistics, creating designs, and working on the campaign. This was going to be a large and ambitious project for me. Unfortunately, the impending situation with US tariffs (potentially up to 145%) has made me rethink the timeline for this campaign.

I don't plan to put the idea away forever, but will be saving it for a time when political and economic environment are more stable. I'm hoping that things will seem more viable by the end of the year or next spring, so that I can run the campaign with fulfillment by the 2026 holiday season.

COMING SOON - Scenes from the Valley Enamel Pin Collection

Since I'm postponing the Pin the Date campaign, I'm going to squeeze in a smaller summer campaign instead. Scenes from the Valley is a mix-and-match collection of scenes and frame pins. The set is inspired by the adventures of a small town farmer in the magic world of a beloved cozy video game. This campaign will be part of a collaboration mythology and magic themed event with other artists. Click here to follow along!

Reminders

• About 12 people still have errored payments from the campaign. If that's you, please fix your payment method so that you can receive your survey and rewards. If your pledge payment has been fully collected and you have not received your survey please reach out to me ASAP. 

•  Orders will lock on March 31st and cards will charge on April 1st (this deadline does not apply to backers who selected "pay over time"). You will still be able to edit your shipping address until it's fulfillment time. If your survey is not completed by this time I won't have your address and be able to fulfill your rewards.

• The pre-order store will also be closing on March 31st. If you know anyone who may want items from the campaign now is a great time to share the link with them!

• We're still only a couple of orders away form funding the Bookshelves for Bibliophiles Coloring Book and the Reusable Sticker Book. If you're interested in either of those items now if a good time to add them to your order order now - your purchase could make the difference in getting them produced!

Production Photos

My manufacturer sent me some progress photos of the enamel pins and I'm really excited about how they're coming along! I know some folks wanted to see photos to decide on sizes before the surveys closed, so I hope this helps.

New Project Launching Thursday

My Floral Pride campaign launches on Thursday! All backers will receive a mini sticker sheet AND early bird backers will receive a free mini pin. Returning backers will receive a free 3" vinyl sticker - if you supported this campaign you'll qualify for that!

Upcoming Project: "Pin the Date" Sticker and Pin Countdown Calendars

I'm excited to announce that I'll be launching a project in May to make sticker and pin countdown calendars. These countdowns will function similarly to advent calendars, but can be used for any holiday or occasion. The campaign will include seven and fourteen day countdowns in four different themes: Cottage, Space, Oceans, and Oddities. You can sign up to follow the project here.

I've been working on the artwork, packaging, and logistics for this project for the past six months and I'm really excited about it. I'll be sharing a survey with my followers to get some feedback before launch, so keep an eye out if you want to be a part of the process!

Finally, I wanted to share some updates about my Floral Pride Pins collection that launches later this month. This campaign celebrates queer perseverance with four 2" pin designs and a newly added set of three 1" mini pins! This campaign will be a collaboration with TWO other creators who also participated in Pintopia. Backers who support all three of our LGBTQ+ themed campaigns will receive a free mini pin from each of us. Check it out here.
