We're back from the Festival de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême, France, where we had a chance to meet with a bunch of our publishing partners and authors, including Jim Bishop himself. Not only was it great to see him (and witness his pleasure seeing the cool acetate slipcase set and all of the nice stretch goal goodies), but it was wonderful to see him celebrated as a featured guest!
Not only that, but -- while we knew he was working on another book -- his new book is DONE! L'ENFANTOME was released that very week!
It is yet another mind-bending tour-de-force, this time with hints of Junji Ito surrealism. You better believe we've got our mind set on bringing this one out in English as soon as we can... Stay tuned!
For backers abroad, we have received confirmation from the UK/EU hub warehouse that all packages have shipped. If you haven't gotten yours yet, or haven't gotten an email with tracking information, please email us at [email protected]. I'm not sure when the last packages may have gone out, but they could take 5-10 business days to travel to some regions...
For Australia and New Zealand backers, you should have received an Address Verification today, or should this weekend. If you need to make any address adjustments, now's your chance. Packages should start going out on Monday.
For backers in Asia, your packages were sent before Chinese New Year but may have been slowed down during that holiday. Now that most folks are back to work, they should complete their journey to you shortly.

Happy New Year! It has been quite a busy holiday season (full of ups and downs), and we admittedly have gotten super-sidetracked with everything going on since... We have been pushing for an update on the International order shipping, and finally got a report this week:
All US and North American orders have shipped! If you haven't gotten yours check to see if your Backerkit survey is complete, or email [email protected].
UK/EU orders have arrived at the UK hub warehouse and should hopefully start shipping out next week! Frankly, 2 of the 4 palettes were received a couple of weeks ago, but for some reason, the other 2 were held up in customs this whole time... we don't know why or why they were separated, but they are now all reportedly at Zatu's warehouse and they should be processed right away. You should receive an Address Verification email soon in case you need to update your delivery address. If we can get notice of that mailing before they go out, we will let you know. Otherwise, if you need to update your address, please email [email protected] and reach out to https://www.qmlogistics.com/contactUs.html with the request asap to be safe.
AU/NZ order inventory should reach Aetherworks early next week, and they'll get those orders turned around as soon as they can. I imagine that should be within the next 1-2 weeks.
ASIA order inventory has been received at VFI, but unfortunately, a lot of centers and carriers have already closed down for Chinese New Year, so these may not go out until they get back from the holiday. We'll keep you posted as soon as we have confirmation.
I know it has been a long wait, but it's nearly over. Things have been a real rollercoaster and minefield since Thanksgiving, but we're on the other side of it all and taking this opportunity to clear our minds for the year ahead. We have lots planned and want to make sure you're all pleased and appreciated for your generous support.

Hi Everyone! We hope you're doing well and are getting ready for a nice, relaxing holiday season. We know you're probably eager to get your campaign package, and we hoped that this next update would have started with "shipping has begun!", but it hasn't quite yet... BUT, we're told that the official Address Verification emails will be sent on Friday, which means that labels will be printed early next week, which usually means shipping will begin about a week after that. So, shipping should begin just after the Thanksgiving holiday! 😊
Once they get started, it usually only takes a day or two (sometimes three) to have everything out the door, so you should see your stuff soon!
(I should qualify that comment by directing it specifically to North American backers -- the International stock will be departing around that same time, and will need some extra time for ocean-crossing and assembly at their respective hubs... we'll post specific hub updates as soon as we get them.)

Sorry for the delay in reporting -- we're at that imminent-but-uncertain stage in the process where everything has been delivered to the fulfillment warehouse for shipping, which should begin any day now, but we're hesitant to report any concrete claims until we know for sure... We're told that the goal is for shipping to begin before Thanksgiving, and everything seems to indicate that'll happen. We just want to be sure there are no hiccups in their checking in the inventory, building the stretch goal bundles, or booking the international hub shipments. Those are all routine pieces that shouldn't normally pose any problems... but I don't want to speak prematurely and then have to backpedal if something unexpected pops up. I hope you understand. 😊

That's right, shipping preparation starts next week! We expect the last remaining items to reach the warehouse by next Friday, at which point the warehouse will start the process of printing the labels, pre-assembling the stretch goal bundles, and pack the boxes. We're pushing to have everything out the door by the end of the month if possible!
