My name is Annye Driscoll, known online as Maker Fishmeal, and I'm a cosplayer, author, and educator. In 2024, my first book, The Ultimate Glue Guide, was published by the Fan Powered Press Imprint of C&T Publishing. I'm a competitive cosplayer with specialties in foamsmithing, detailed projects, and props. I also have a lot of other demands on my time, including a full-time non-cosplay job and an easily-bored horse. Having effective planning systems is essential for all the fun things I want to spend my time on!
As much as I love motivation and productivity, I'm a strong believer in finding strategies that are, above all, kind and respectful to a person's mind and body. A creator's artistic systems should meet them where they are and help them with creative burnout and timeline crunches, not lead to them.
