We have shipped 85% of orders at this point, so for most of you, that means you already have your dice, or you live in Europe or Australia. Australian orders should be arriving at the local warehouse in the next week or so and European orders should begin shipping next week from Amsterdam. Orders for Mexico, South, and Central America ship directly from our offices in California, and those will still be a few more weeks.
For backers in the US and Canada, you should expect to see an email asking for final address confirmation from our logistics partner Quartermaster Logistics. (This will come sometimes over the next several weeks as your package is ready to ship)
Those of you in Europe and United Kingdom may have noticed that your credit cards have not been billed yet. We are working out the final details on VAT as this is our first time shipping from within Europe to customers in Europe so the rules are a bit different. The shipping estimates that you see in your backerkit should be accurate, what might change is the VAT collection. We hope to have that all sorted out in the next two weeks.
For backers in Australia and New Zealand, your dice are being shipped to Aetherworks last mile fulfillment, which hopefully won't take too much longer, but we have been really wrong in the past with estimates on timelines for getting good cleared at the port, please be patient.
Everyone else, there are just a couple of you, but we are shipping your orders directly from MCDM HQ, but that process will not begin for a few more weeks. We will likely email you directly before we send your order.
We ran into a delay with international freight that was beyond our control, but as of this morning we expect that a flight with pallets of dice will be leaving the assembly facility in Europe, headed towards our the shipping warehouse in Florida. ASSUMING that no other delays occur, we expect to start shipping dice next week. It will take about 8-10 weeks for everyone to get their dice. We have not yet run all the credits card, but we will next week.

You saw the dice in our last update, but this morning the team at Cook and Becker sent over this photo of Good King Omund's Box of Dice in all it's gold foil glory. Now that boxes are approved for manufacture we expect to start assembly and preparation for shipment in the coming weeks. It will take a while to put 40,000 dice into boxes so here is what we are currently estimating for delivery timelines:
We expect to bill credit cards for any outstanding add-ons as well as shipping and taxes on February 3rd. (You can view your shipping, handling, and taxes in your Backerkit profile.)
We expect to begin shipping Dice boxes on February 24th.
We wanted to get y'all a short update before we sign off for our holiday break.
The manufacturing process has been smooth sailing so far and we expect to be able to begin shipping rewards early next year. We don't yet have full shipping estimates in place, but right now we expect that the EU and UK estimates will come down as we will be shipping from the Netherlands. Orders for everyone else will be shipping from Florida. We aim to have final shipping and tax figured in Backerkit by mid January.
There is still a lot of work to do, but we are happy with how the dice have turned out and can't wait to get these into your hands.
