Each pin is a lovingly illustrated "specimen" from our fictional field journal - a kawaii take on natural history. Think of it as a traveling museum of cuteness, curated by the Dodo: the world's most iconic flightless archivist.

Below is a curated log of each species featured in The Dodo Diaries, preserved in enamel for future generations. Each entry includes the scientific name, key historical context, a glimpse into their natural past — and, naturally, the Dodo’s own highly personal field notes from his (often awkward) encounters.
Pin Selection: Backers will choose their pins, from the unlocked designs, via Backer Survey after the campaign ends. Check out the timeline for more info.
Please note that minor changes to pin designs may occur during the manufacturing process to ensure the highest quality and production compatibility (such as line thickness or enamel fill adjustments).
While we’ve done our best to represent colors accurately, final pin colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen due to monitor differences and enamel production limitations.

Surveys
Every backer is required to fill out a Backer Survey, sent roughly 2 weeks after the campaign ends.
Here you will choose your pin designs, select add-ons, add your shipping info, and pay for shipping, etc.
Timely completion of the survey is crucial. Please make sure to submit before the deadline (see timeline).
Survey answers are necessary for my order placement. I cannot order for what I don’t have counts for. If you do not complete your survey within 3 months of the deadline your pledge will be assumed as a donation, and rewards will be forfeited.

The project also draws from historical zoology, reimagining how we document and remember lost species using a blend of science, storytelling, and style.
