Emma Bahnmiller is an author, a lover of archery and horse riding, and an honors high school student. From an early age, Emma knew she wanted to shape the world through the written word. At just nine years old, she crafted her first book by cutting pieces of notebook paper in half, tying them together, and filling them with stories and illustrations.

Ødiri's Board was originally intended to be a single chapter for a First Chapter Contest when Emma was thirteen, but the story blossomed into a full-length novel. Now, after four years and numerous rounds of editing, it has evolved into something truly worth sharing.

Shipping Estimates

The following shipping prices are estimates for sending one hardcover copy of Ødiri's Board. Your actual shipping cost will be determined and charged after you complete your survey following this campaign, dependent upon your exact rewards, the final weights, and the cost of shipping at that time. Please note that we do not add handling fees for shipping. * For local pickups (Boise, ID) and friends and family, these costs may be waived (must be arranged ahead of time).

VAT

We are unable to cover any VAT fees that may be due for international packages. On the positive side, the UK has a 0% VAT rate for books, and many other countries also have reduced VAT for books. Make sure to check your country's regulations so that there are no surprises from unexpected fees.

Customs

We do not know whether we will be able cover or handle the intricacies of customs as we are a small operation, and so we cannot commit to covering them. However, if, at the time of shipping we find that we are able to do so, we will cover the cost, but for those in countries with customs, please allow for the time and cost to handle customs in case we do not.

While delays are common in the world of crowdfunding, most of the rewards being offered here are either fully developed or are in the final stages of development. I've been working directly with sourcing partners in preparation for the final production and have been mentored by a veteran producer with support from a strong team.

With that said, there are a lot of moving pieces, and unforeseen issues from paper shortages to shipping delays to editor availability once the book is ready are always possible. However, I am taking every measure to avoid pitfalls, plan ahead, build in extra time, and update backers at every stage of the process.
