Happy Monday, everybody. Especially happy for us you guys transformed P.U.N.C.H. #3 from a bunch of digital files into a real, live comic book!
We didn't quite reach our 2k stretch goal; well, for a hot minute we did but then some cancels came in on the last 10 hours and we ducked back under but you know what? WE DON'T CARE! You're all getting NEW PRIZES in your packages anyway! We ended close enough and you guys shouldn't lose out because of last minutes cancelations.
For next steps, you can expect the surveys to hit your inboxes in about 11-12 days time. We'll be buttoning up the P.U.N.C.H. files and sending them to the printer this week to get prepped and once the funds clear from Backerkit, the green button gets pushed. There are always vagaries in the timing of things, our schedule doesn't always align with the printers but I expect that digital editions will go out around the middle of July and physical packages roughly a week later. We'll keep you guys posted as the timing tightens up.
For now, let us just say thank you again from Rich and myself. P.U.N.C.H. has been a blast for us to create but none of these books exist without the support of you guys and we never take that for granted.

We're almost to the finish line on this one and in a blatant effort to push us into stretch goal territory, we've added New Pain Blind Bags to the add-on section of the campaign.
What's in the blind bag, you may ask? I guess they're not really blind bags if I tell you but each bag will contain FOUR random New Pain comics and/or graphic novels AND...
A MYSTERY ITEM.
The only limitation on the mystery item is that it needs to fit in the official New Pain blind bag. Could be a stick of gum, a page of original artwork, risque pictures of Tom Nguyen (putting the blind in blind bag there) or anything in between!
If you're feeling adventurous, add one on. Only $25 dollars and you only live once, right? Make the most of it.
Otherwise, if you can boost us on your social media feeds over the next two days, that would go a long way towards helping P.U.N.C.H. finish strong.

Anyone catch the Days Of Our Lives reference? My mom's favorite show and I think a lot of us Gen X'ers skipped many a college class to see what the gang in Salem were up to.
We are rolling in to week three and I received an unexpected email notification from Backerkit last night regarding fraudulent activity. We've had issues with scammers on Kickstarter before (boy, have we!) so I thought I'd paste the email here in case you've noticed any weird activity on the campaign.
<<My name is Dave and I'm with the Trust & Safety team at BackerKit.
We are reaching out to let you know that we identified and removed two fraudulent accounts that posted malicious content on your project between 9:25 AM PDT and 11:15 AM PDT. We received reports from backers and creators regarding this activity, and will be replying to those backers to inform them of our team's response as well.
The content attempted to impersonate BackerKit staff and linked to fake verification websites that are not operated by BackerKit. We deleted the content from these accounts within the hour, cancelled any associated pledges, and flagged the associated information with our payment processors. The accounts have been removed and we are continuing to review for related activity. This type of activity does not indicate that any creator or backer accounts were compromised.
If you receive any questions from your backers, please remind them that BackerKit will never ask them to verify their account or payment details through an external link, and that official BackerKit communications always display a BackerKit staff badge. Any further suspicious activity or questions can always be reported to [email protected]

We didn't notice any strange activity but it's possible that Tom Nguyen tried uploading nude pics to the campaign page so better safe than sorry.
Speaking of Tom, on Thursday at 8:00 PM EST this week, he, Rich Stahnke, Richard Miller and myself will be chatting with Kari Sanders for a special P.U.N.C.H. edition of "Kari's Crowdfunding Corner." Last time I checked, that's the entire P.U.N.C.H. #3 creative team!

Want to know what the worst part of this project is? It takes me forever to type P.U.N.C.H.! What a pain in the @ss to go all caps and insert a period after every letter but I suffer for all of you!
