Hello there! I'm Oakley, and I'm a hearing-impaired artist with a focus on all things Character Art! I am most known for my fursuit-making ventures under Oakley's Creations, but I also animate, illustrate, and create fun and expressive merchandise for various vendor halls across the United States!
I have always had the biggest passion to connect to others in ways my hearing can't by breathing life into anything I create, focusing on eyes and faces as a window to a drawing's soul. Fursuit-making has been the most successful outlet for this fervor, and animation is what I have been classically trained in, but over the past few years I have since sought out more means to connect my work to the world... And what better way than one that draws a bridge to one of my own personal sources of comfort: the soft touch of plushies!
After years of research and ideation, I finally got the create my first ever plush toy project: one that combines my expressive style and fills a need for the perfect huggable friend that is designed with sensory and anxiety relief in mind! I am excited to introduce you to The HugBubs!

HugBubs are a series of floppy-style teddy plushies, featuring a rainbow of unique characters! Each colorful critter hastheir own personalities designed around hobbies that they can connect to you with! Their size, soft fur, and floppy styling is designed to let them be the perfect cuddly companion, with an added bonus of a secret pocket to make each plushie best suited for your comfort needs!
Each plushie features:
Roughly 12 inches tall while sitting, with an added 7 inches of floppy legs
Extra soft fake fur fabric, with minky fabric detail
Hybrid applique and embroidered details
Floppy limbs and tail, perfect for posing and hugs!
Expressive faces unique to each plush toy
A zipper pocket on the plushie's back for full customization; add weighted bags, scent pods, and even trackers to keep them safe on your journeys!
With this campaign and future orders of these plushies, there is the option to get fitted weighted bags and scent pods with your order!
Currently there are four special fellows in the HugBub line, but backers of this campaign will get the unique opportunity to vote for the last (planned) two of the line! You might have noticed that there is a distinct rainbow coloration that each plush has, and that the series is missing yellow and green! Once we hit the initial campaign goal, there will be a community vote between two distinct designs each to fill these color roles! Check back for updates and to help pave HugBub's history!

NOTE: Bobbin and Racket are partially funded and will have preorders available on MY SHOP shortly after launch! Their funding goals are to ensure there is enough of them for everyone, if this campaign is successful!
UPDATE (10/22/2025): Stretch Goals have been modified! Due to already having preordered more plushies than backers for this campaign, Bobbin and Racket have been declared as self-funded and goal posts have been shifted! All Backerkit funding for this campaign will go towards plushies not already pre-ordered! Backer-Voted designs, unless funding goal is hit, will have a post-campaign vote and a future campaign just for them!
Shipping rates are always fluctuating. Thus, we have decided to collect shipping AFTER the campaign ends, during the charging for the rewards. This way, we can ensure shipping fees are accurate and correct! Below is an ESTIMATE of what to expect to pay for shipping. Prepare carefully!
Oversea backers are responsible for any import taxes, VAT taxes, and any related costs that are incurred upon picking up your package!
This is an estimated production timeline for the HugBubs, including mid-campaign preorders! This is designed to be an overestimation to help account for any delays, but in the event that delays happen anyway, I will be sure to inform you!
