Hello everyone and happy (end of) April! Sorry for the late update this month, I just wanted to make sure I had something significant to share, and I do!

I got all the manuscript into layout along with a major writing pass, so now it's ready to pass off for another round of editing. Since layout is mostly complete, this means we are well on track. My next focus is getting the design of the full network map done, both for the Deluxe poster and the version that will end up in the zine, as well as finishing up the floor maps. Those and two more art pieces from Chao are the last major steps for Death Pays All Debts! 

Additionally all the patches have been created and were shipped to RV Games, I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Hi all! Another month down! Just a minor update this month, things are proceeding on schedule. Now that the initial dev edit pass is done I’m going through and getting the manuscript into layout and polishing up the writing. The final form is starting to take shape which is exciting!

Getting layout done is also helping show gaps where I can fit some more artwork, which will probably be a combo of pieces I do and some more commissions from Chao. 

Hoping by next update I’ll have some spreads more or less finalized to share. Until then, I’ll keep plugging away!

Hello! It's February and things with Death Pays All Debts are moving along.

Writing and Editing
On the writing side, Christian is continuing through the dev editing pass which is nearly done. Then I'll get to re-writes to tighten everything up. I have also started writing the final form of What Dreams May Come, the bonus pamphlet reward for all Mothership Month projects funding.

Once dev editing is done I think we'll be able to move quickly to finalize the manuscript and get it into layout for the last copy-editing passes.

Illustration
We have wonderful interior NPC illustrations by Chao complete!

Logistics
I have worked with the patch vendor and gotten final designs finished and approved, so they are in the process of being created now!

Hello and Happy New Year! Now that funds have cleared and we are past the holidays I’m starting back in on Death Pays All Debts. 

We are about to begin a Dev edit pass on the manuscript. I’m excited to get other eyes on this project and to work with Christian on the module.

We are also in the initial phases of getting the interior illustrations done, once Brandon is able to start on those I’ll share more progress.

I have also been continuing to create more floor maps. I have a good idea of what the layout for each floor should be, just needing minor adjustments and decorations once we finalize the manuscript. 

I will also be planning on starting the patch creation and proofing process this month, to ensure those are ready to go when the rest of the project is complete. 

I hope everyone had a restful holiday season and I’m looking forward to sharing more as we develop Death Pays All Debts!

We're seeing absolutely wild dedication from Mothership fans as overtime for the campaign approaches 48 hours! Crossing threshold that will break an all time record for overtime on Backerkit!

This overtime has allowed several creators to reach more stretch goals, meaning even more awesome content being made.
